Great little radiator but poor feet”
Bought one of these to dry lightly-used towels, we keep it on the landing, its only small but produces really good heat & dries things quickly. The only drawback is that the design of the feet is not good at all, they are weak & flimsy & move & come off too easily. We kept putting them back on & tightening the screws but the bolt holding one foot then broke off completely. We still use it just balanced on the bolts that are left & have thrown the feet away! For the size of it you can dry a lot on it but needs to be redesigned with sturdier feet. Would've given 5 stars but for that

I was surprised how flimsy the item is and disappointed with it's look, expected something considerably more stable for the price - however it does heat up well and dries the towels. Fortunately it is in our small shower room and shared by hubby and myself, so not on view to all!!

This is a great product. Its light weight and great for drying towels on during winter. I am very happy with this product. Its like having an extra radiator in our house to dry things on. The only downside of this dryer is that the legs are very wide which means its sticks out a long way from the wall. Our house is small and space is not something we have hence us buying this, so therefore its annoying how big the legs are in comparison to the slim dryer itself.

I have bought this today to put in a cupboard in our bathroom to using as a airing facility as we have a combination boiler with no airing cupboard, can the team confirm it is safe to have in a small space cupboard approx 70cm wide and deep and 6 foot tall. Thank you

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. We're pleased the towel warmer is solving your airing issues. We'd recommend using the warmer in a well ventilated area [ cupboard ] placed on a level, dry surface at least 1.5 metres away from heat or water source. The towel warmer can be left on for a maximum of 24 hours but should be switched off for a time after this period to allow it to cool.
Does the job!”

After our bathroom remodel we didn't have the wall space to include a towel radiator (we have underfloor heating installed), so we purchased this to deal with wet towels and it works a treat. I just hope it's cheap on the electricity bill.

A note from the team: Thank you for placing your review. The towel warmer uses low energy at only 90 watts.
I've now been asked to order another of these for a friend, perfect for airing clothes before putting away and drying towel after bathing.

Now the weather is getting cold, this is a really nice thing to have, and I have nothing but praise (and fluffy warm towels)

Rather ineffective airer”
I bought one of these last summer, when it was often too wet to hang clothes out on the line. I wanted a way to dry underwear. I found it pretty useless really. The bars do warm up a bit, but only seem to dry the small surface area in contact with them, leaving the parts of the clothes hanging down remaining damp for quite a long time, needing a lot of rearrangement. Even when it's carefully loaded with clothes hung to enclose the heat, it's really only a little better than just hanging them up on an unheated airer. It also has a very small capacity and the feet are rather unstable.

I bought this for a very small caravan toilet and shower room. Very disappointing, warmed towels but very little heat given out, and lost heat quickly when turned off. Would not recommended this.

GREAT TOWEL WARMER”
I bought this towel warmer a few weeks ago and it's been great, I keep it on most of the day as it does not cost a lot to run and it's lovely having dry towels particularly this time of the year when you cant put them outside! You can warm clothing as well as towels. It's neat and does not take up much space which is handy if your kitchen is narrow or small. No P&P either which is grand and a life time guarantee - not many firms do that! So if your towels are wet and soggy get this airer or you'll be sorry! Lakeland is an excellent firm to deal with - keep up the good work Lakeland!

Not as expected...”
I'm surprised that this item received such high praise in the reviews posted previously. On the positive side, I like the look of this item very much; it is quite stylish. Unfortunately my rail does not get very hot, even when left on for a long time and I would hardly describe my towels as lovely and warm even when they are taken directly from the stand. The rail is just less than the width of a hand towel and can't really be used for bath towels. At the moment, mine is in the kitchen where it does a champion job with my tea towels. Not quite what I had in mind but not a complete disaster.

Dries sooner towel rail”
I think this is excellent as I have limited means to dry my laundry and I use it daily for my smalls and also for an item of clothing that I want to wear the same day as it has been washed. The stand is not a problem size-wise except for the fact that one of them will not stay in place and I am forever having to slide it into place. It was like this from the first day but because I was desperate I did not complain for what has otherwise been an excellent buy. Also I have severe arthritis and always keep it on, knowing it will not run up the electric bill.

I'm impressed with this airer. Its an ideal size and it doesn't take up too much room. I'm also impressed with how warm it gets too. Wish i'd brought it a long time ago!

Excellent piece of kit”
I bought this for our holiday home in Cornwall initially, it is superb, and so lovely to have warm cosy towels after showering. Great for drying laundry too and fits well against the wall in the bedroom, light and well made. I am so impressed I am ordering another one for home.

We bought this product as we have no central heating in our flat and were fed up with wet towels, day after day. It is excellent, as we worry about our fuel bills. It does the job and looks good too. Our only negative comment would be that because of the large footprint of the feet (which are obviously needed for stability) it does take up more room than the slimline rail. It still doesn't take up much room, but in our tiny flat- every bit matters! We now use this product to dry some of our washing too! Thanks Lakeland- I'd been looking everywhere for a product like this!

multi use, not just for towels”
I started off with one of these and have since bought another, They are elegant, slim, lightweight and most of all, useful in several different ways. Only 90w, so I also use mine to provide background warmth in the north side of the house This is one of the best products I have bought and great for airing clothes off the line. The sun is shining this morning and they are not costing me a penny today as I have a solar panel system I highly recommend this product
