Fabulous heated airer”
by Miss BARKMAN
I've had this airer for a couple of years and it dries my whole wash in a day and a night. Like with any drier, one has to move the items around..not just leave them. I agree that if the wings were heated it would be so much better. I hang towel, pj's, underwear and lay cardigans, jumpers flat on the middle bit on a this towel. WELL DONE LAKELAND! Marianne Barkman

Excellent for drying small items”
I'm surprised by the reviews that complain it only dries small items and only the bit touching the bar - that's what you'd expect, surely? I've had the wingless version for years, and the only problem is it was slightly too small. So when I saw the winged version, I bought it at once. I travel a lot by car. I take the dryer with me and use it in the hotel room to dry small items overnight after hand-washing them. Extremely convenient.

I live in a flat and have found this to be absolutely brilliant for drying large items like duvets, towels etc. much faster than before.

Not worth bothering with”
by Mrs Jill Hayward
I found this drier fairly useless, not enough heat and only suitable for tiny garments such as baby clothes. Lakeland, however, immediately offered a full refund or exchange at no cost to me. Their customer service is exceptionally good. The best we have come across this Christmas. Thankyou

GREAT FOR DRYING JUMPERS/CARDIS”
by Miss CLARK
I bought this airer 2 weeks ago – I bought with a specific purpose in mind which is to dry cashmere jumpers/cardigans which it does do very well (placed on a towel so not on direct heat). I dried 2 jumpers overnight. In addition I have used it to dry two pairs of jeans successfully. With regards to towels, if laid out flat they do dry. With a large sheet, trickier as need to dry a section at a time. I would say this airer works well for a small wash or specific items eg woollens that need to be dried flat. It would be good if the outside rails of middle section could be heated.

I hoped this would work in the same way as the tower heated airer. But, when heated, you can only dry 3 or 4 items at once and towels not at all. I bought this in store and was, unfortunately, unable to return it.

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. As mentioned in another review, this is both an airer (when the items are hanging down) and a drier (when items are laid across the heated bars). I'll be in touch shortly to help.
Returned the next day!”
I bought this but returned it the following day,i was so dissappointed with it.The only bit it dries is the bit of material on the bar.I had it on for 8 hours and gave up and returned it to the store.I'm waiting for stock on the £79.99 airer as the reviews are very good for that one.
