“wonderful mop

wow what a great steam mop order mine and it came on Thursday cleaned kitchen floor/ bathroom floor only down side is your got to turn it up side down to empty it keep up the good work lakeland thank you

“Brilliant steamer.
”

Debated long and hard about buying a steamer for my hard floors but glad I did. I have laminate flooring in my dining room and for the first time in ages it looks clean with no streaks. Also great on the ceramic floor tiles in my kitchen and bathroom. Thanks lakeland for another great product - and a great price too.

“lakeland steam mop
”

Initially I was pleased with the mop, but after about 3 uses it failed to deliver and I now feel it is a waste of £60. It leaves the floor streaky despite using distilled water and washing the pads in powder only. Im really disappointed

“Ok, but not brillant
”

I have been using my steam mop now for 3 months and while it is very light and easy to use it isn't very good at cleaning subbon dirt and the handle feels flimsy as if it might break. I find it performs best with a very damp cleaning pad.

“Spotless floors quickly
”

One of the main reasons I bought this is because I have rheumatoid arthritis so carrying buckets of soapy water around is not an option. This cleaner is fabulous! It is so easy and quick to use and leaves my floors completely dry straight away.

“Another Excellent Product from Lakeland

My husband and I are both very pleased with the Lakeland Steam Mop. It is light weight yet sturdy and easy to use. The 3 washable pads supplied with it make it very good value for money. We were really pleased with the results after using it on our kitchen floor which is covered by ceramic tiles in a light colour. No more muddy cat paw prints on the kitchen floor and no more sore knees from mopping up kitchen spills. Thank you Lakeland.

“fantastic steam mop

Bought this steam mop as I have difficulty getting about. Ordinary mops are difficult to use as I have problems with my spine. This was very easy to put together, the water tank was easy to fill as I sat the steam mop on a stool. It heats up in seconds. The pads are great they stay on so no messing around. My floors are unbelievably clean. It is light to push around which is great as there is no strain on my back. The water tank lasts a while also which makes life easier. It makes cleaning the floors quick and easy with no buckets of dirty water to move about and better still no chemicals.

“Disappointing
”

Got this when my old one (Lakeland 29.99?) blew up. Very disappointed with the steam heat and one of the sticky tabs has fallen off already. it just doesn't seem to pick up the marks on my stone tiled floor.

“Lakeland Steam Mop

I bought this steam mop a few weeks ago as it seemed to have all of the same features as the big brands & great reviews. I have not been disappointed with the cleaning , although tiled floors dry very well, laminate flooring does tend to dry a little streaky. Another review states the need to brush/hoover before use & this is very true. On the downside, the top clip that holds the wound-up cable is a little flimsy and often slips down once the cable is tied, so I have to start again. Also, the velcro stitching on 1 of the pads came away during first use, but the other 2 seem OK.

“Excellent Product!

Just purchased this steam mop and I am delighted with the results! I have some old wooden floor boards which have seen better days but the results are great and on my tiled floors and laminate floors too! Worth every penny. Telescopic handle is a bonus for me as I'm short & my hubby is tall. Not sure how sturdy handle is though as too much pressure & it might give way - will see how it fares. The little clip for the wire is great but it really needs another one to secure the plug when stored as it keeps falling down.

Having used this on a light coloured tiled floor it just left lots of streaks and the floor looking very dull. Returned item with no problem.

“Really good machine

The Lakeland Steam Mop makes cleaning my hard floors easy and fun. Not many housework tools or tasks I could say that about! I can clean the 20ft x 12ft tiled kitchen floor in about 2 minutes. The floor is left almost dry and it uses two of the cotton pads to do it. Then I do the sealed solid floorboards around the rugs in other parts of the house, which takes about 10 minutes, moving furniture first. Absolutely brilliant, every time. (I bought the water softener granules to go with it, don't do what I did, left a dribble of water in the pot, the granules went red - used up immediately.)

“Not terribly impressed

Have had this for a few weeks. To start with, it was wonderful not to have to trog out to the garage for the mop and bucket.Cleaning power seemed to be good without the need for separate cleaning fluid. However, as the weeks have gone on, I have come to the conclusion that it works best if you use a mop and bucket in between(!) which surely negates the need for a steam mop. I have no doubt that it is very hygienic; all that lovely boiling steam. However, it doesn't clean my laminate kitchen floor at all well. I am extremely disappointed that I spent £60 and have had to revert to my mop.

“Not as good as I expected

I bought this from my local store. The kitchen floor is tiled - they are textured as opposed to smooth. I find I have to go over any marks several times and even they don't remove them. It is easy to use and does dry quickly etc but I am not that impressed. I now tend to clean any noticeable marks by hand first. The rest of my living area has laminate floors but customer services advised this item is not suitable for laminate as they are not sealed. I havent taken it back as it is quite handy for the bathroom floor but I would like clarification on the laminate please?

“A little disappointed

I've been looking at getting a Steam Mop for a while now, and was finally bought one for Xmas. I've found that although it does produce a nice amount of steam, I find the 250ml water tank a little small, and also that you don't have an option to have constant steam difficult. I have found that unless I pump the mop about 20 times to build up pressure and steam not much comes out, also I have to go over light stains (mud) several times to make the patch clean. It's not a bad product, but there is definitely room for improvement. As I'm now thinking of changing to the Shark 2-in-1 instead.

The beauty of the smaller tank in comparison to other steam mops means is it's lightweight and easier to move around your home to tackle those cleaning chores.The pump action to produce steam gives you steam ‘on demand’ in 30 second harnessing the power and prevents the water tank emptying before you've had the chance to position the pad in the spot or area you're cleaning. A constant steam may produce condensation and leave your floor or carpet wet in contrast to the Lakeland steam mop which leaves them dry almost immediately and killing 99.9% of germs and bacteria in the process. Our buying team recommend to never leave the steam mop in one spot on any surface for any period of time. We hope this helps reassure you that you've made the right choice.

AFTER READING THE REVIEWS AND BEING COMPLETING SICK & TIRED OF USING A MOP & BUCKET (WHICH I NEVER FELT ACTUALLY CLEANED THE FLOOR PROPERLY) I COULDN'T WAIT TO TRY MY NEW STEAM CLEANER. I DIDN'T WANT TO PAY A LOT OF MONEY AS I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT BUT HAVING ONLY USED IT ONCE I'M THRILLED WITH MY PURCHASE. IT MAKES CLEANING THE FLOORS SO EASY AND QUICK. I KNOW IT'S GOING TO MAKE A JOB THAT I ONCE HATED ONE THAT I NOW ACTUALLY ENJOY!!! THANKS LAKELAND!

“A Good Buy

Having spent a long time reading reviews of various products I decided to give this a go. I wasn't disappointed. Excellent cleaning and excellent price. I did have one small problem that on one of the mop heads the velcro was coming away, I got in touch and Lakeland replaced the faulty product. Excellent customer service. To improve the product I would like interchangeable heads, small ones, to get in difficult corners and perhaps a head that swivels, but of course that would come at a price. For the money I paid I am extremely happy.

“Steam Mop

I bought this approx. 3 weeks ago and have used it a few times and have found it to be very disappointing - the pump action is quite irritating when cleaning the floor and you have to go over and over some marks to get them clean. I would actually like a refund!!

“DISAPPOINTING
”

I have now had FOUR of these steamers... The handle has broken on every one of these products and I am finally admitting defeat. My last steamer, I returned to the store & when I explained to the staff member that this seems to be a continous problem I was told if it happens again I should look at purchasing 'something more substantial'... Since this visit, my latest steamer has also come apart at the handle. Very disappointed.

“Brilliant
”

I bought this steam mop a few weeks ago & am thrilled with it. Housework isn't my favourite occupation but this has more than halved the time it takes to mop my tiled & wooden floors. You may think that I previously used a mop & bucket, but no, previously I had a different make steam mop. I got fed up with it towards the end because it was taking 20 mins for the steam to come through. However even when new it didn't compare to this one. I'm so glad I bought it!
