Not up to standard”
This did not work well for me as the fit is not right. I kept it though but quality is not good at all. Velcro came off in less than a week. Would not recommend.

Size is a bit odd”
I bought this as it had been recommended. It is really well padded but the size is strange. I agree with previous comments - the rounded end doesn't fit well and there isn't a strap to secure it. I've had to fold the end under and safety pin it into place. This is a good cover but may need some doctoring to make it fit properly.

This is a great ironing board cover. Easy to fit and gives a lovely close fit to the board.

Best one yet!”

I have tried dozens of ironing board covers but get so frustrated trying to fit them. they are either to short or the cords snap while fixing. I thought I would give this one a try. I managed to fit it to the board effortlessly, it is a very good fit and great value for money. I would recommend this.

I have had difficulty in finding a cover big enough for my board in the past, I found this cover after a lot of searching and I am over the moon. It fits perfectly and the straps underneath are an added bonus. The ironing surface is really smooth and it appears to be perforated which helps with speed of ironing. Overall great value for money. Thank you Lakeland!

Perfect - I hate ironing but this cover makes it a breeze!”
Having read previous reviews I was unsure as to how it would fit however I popped it on the ironing board, fastened the velcro strips underneath & then slowly pulled the strings at the straight end to gather up the remaining fabric. The middle velcro strips were in the way when I put the ironing board down so I cut them off - this is a cover for all makes of ironing board so you may also have to do this - it isn't a design flaw... Yes there may be a lot of fabric - pull the strings to gather it up - it isn't a design flaw... Only critisism - my whites aren't as white as the cover!

Much better than most”
This cover doesn't fit perfectly but it is very good and lasts well. I've bought several now as they are better than the competition.

Having spent the last year buying covers from various supermarkets and having to take them all back, I was so relieved when this cover fitted like a dream. Very pleased with it and easy to fit.

Having looked at other large stores I finally ordered this cover from Lakeland. In general, this cover has delivered. You still have to pull strings to tighten the cover, but they worked perfectly without snapping or feeling like they would. The biggest let-down was the hook & loop straps. There were three which went width-ways across the board to keep the cover tight. Immediately one broke away totally from the edge and the others are not terribly well stitched. However, we have bought extra clips for the board. Overall worth buying over the competition.

I sent this ironing board cover to my daughter in Holland and I now find it doesn't fit at all well on the rounded end. Not good when ironing shirts.
