Adjusta Bracket Over Door Hook
I bought one of these hooks and found it was brilliant, no problems closing the door, also useful because it can be adjusted to fit different widths of doors. I'm about to buy another one!

“Door won't close

I bought two of these for my uncle, but find that the plastic starts too high to allow the door to shut. His door is wide and it does expand to fit, which is good. I think that the hanger will only work if it is to go on the outside of the door, but this is not made clear in the description.

Adjusta Bracket Over Door Hook
Having recently had new doors fitted I then needed something to hang dressing gowns on in the bathroom I thought it would be a better idea than screwing holes in my lovely new doors, but when I put it on my door even my bedroom door the doors wouldn't shut. Great idea unfortunately just didn't work for me.

“I'm Hooked on this

Adjusta Bracket Over Door Hook
I have been hunting for several years, since I had my bathroom renovated, to find a hook that will fit over the shower cabinet to cope with the extra bath towels when we have a guest staying long-term. Nothing I've found up till now has fit, though I've tried variations on over the door hooks, and was actually using one of the plastic ones, but it sagged and has been known to fall off. So when I was browsing, I found this item and thought, Oh what the heck, nothing ventured, nothing gained, and if it doesn't work on the shower unit, it will find a use somewhere. Well, I finally got my parcel today and I dug this out and put it in place - and it fits, and it works, and I am so thrilled to bits to finally have something that looks decent and does the job perfectly. Thanks Lakeland, you've come through for me again! If I could give it 5 stars x 2 I'd do it!!! Merry Christmas!

“Don't shut that door

I have bought several of these metal over-the-door hooks from yourselves over the years but have the same complaint with all. While they are strong and last for years you cannot shut the door when they are in situ otherwise the frame gets chewed or possibly damaged. Therefore both the hook and the hanging clothes have to be removed every time the door is closed - this is inconvenient. Tempted often to abandon this idea and opt for screw in hooks but am unsure whether doors are solid. Been waiting years for Lakeland to come up with the solution.
