A Wonderful Tea Towel”
by Steve Campsall
i decided to write this review when by chance I noticed the overall three star rating for this product on Lakeland and was intrigued. We find these tea towels, by a large margin, the very best there is. They are as large as a normal tea towel but dry far more quickly than our normal cotton ones; more importantly, they leave everything utterly and brilliantly clean. We love them - they last forever, too. Negatives? The price!

I love Lakeland products but purchased these a few months ago and am extremely disappointed, so have today decided to give up on them and ordered my favourite Lakeland tea towels. These towels are too small, snag, get wet quickly and feel strange. Perhaps this is why they are always on offer.

I shop frequently at Lakeland and love their products. I recently purchased 6 of these tea towels and I can honestly say I think they are most disappointing. They snag very easily and items do not appear to be very dry after use - a very expensive mistake.

Wonderful tea towels!”
Wash and rinse these tea towels before using them - then they'll perform wonders! They look good and feel good; they're super absorbent and lint free; they dry and polish cutlery, crockery and glass beautifully; they wear and launder well. Love 'em! (Note to Lakeland: I use two colours in my kitchen - one colour for tea towels and another for hand towels. You see, these towels are great for drying hands too, but (even though I change them daily) they do show the dirt as they're mostly white. How about supplying e-cloth HAND TOWELS in SOLID red, blue and green to match the tea towels?)

Something has changed”
I have been buying these tea towels for years and have been most impressed with their super absorbency and they have left glasses sparkling. However, the last 3 I purchased are different. They are not absorbent and it takes several wipes with the cloth to get an article dry and they leave bits of lint on the glass.

I am so disappointed with these, I was expecting them to be absorbent like the e-cloths, but they are not at all, they don't dry very well at all, I tried washing them but it made no difference. Really disappointed, especially as i got a 2 for 3 offer and now am stuck with 3 of them! Will be going back to my old usual tea towels.

I bought these, admittedly in a hurry, under the impression there were 4 of them. The pic suggests 4 and somewhere I read 4 times absorbent, so that was the subliminal message I assume. My mistake, but I would not buy one tea towel for this price. I accept my error and then try and use, oh-oh, they feel HORRIBLE, the fibres catch on my skin and I would advise anyone with any sort of skin condition to keep well clear. I can't bear to touch it.

A note from the team: Thanks for your review. These towels are made from super-absorbent E-Cloth fibres to leave glass and crockery smear free and dry in seconds. We're sorry you don't like the feel of the fibres, and we'll be happy to offer a refund. We'll be in touch.
The best tea towels!”

These are the best tea towels I have ever used by far - a bit expensive but worth it !

Great - but...”
I really, really like these tea towels! They dry and shine brilliantly, wear and wash exceptionally well, but the size of them does take a little getting used to. They are significantly smaller that the linen ones which I used previously, although are similar in size to the traditional honeycomb cotton ones. This can be a problem when drying large items, such as preserving pans and stock pots. Don't let this put you off buying them, but just be prepared if, like me, you are used to a larger tea towel.

I was very pleased with my purchase. The material has a nice "feel" and washes well.

I have had these cloths for some time, and they are really excellent in use - very absorbent. I recommend them.
