After trying lots of mops this is brilliant I have wooden & tiled floors & this is brilliant on both. I did find the squeeze lever a bit stiff to start with but now fine. takes half the time to clean now

Worth the price and more”
After using many different cheaper mops I decided to purchase this one. Over a year later I am still happily using it! The heads last a long time before needing replacing and you can 'scrub' the floor with this mop unlike many others. In a household with two dogs this is important! Very much recommend.

I bought this ages ago as I was trying to streamline my cleaning cupboard, and figured could get away without a mop bucket, just using the sink. It works in this respect, but it doesn't wring out very well, so my wooden floors get a bit wetter than I would like. It is also impossible to get into the corners like you can with an old fashioned mop. I haven't used for over a year, and had forgotten about it, until clearing out said cleaning cupboard. Have gone back to a good old mop & bucket...

How did I ever manage without this mop! In a damp climate, the wringing action on this mop means your floors are dry within seconds, without having to open all the doors & windows. It's is quite strong & takes a little getting used too, but then it's so effective. You don't have to get your hands wet either!

Happy mop user”
I've just used this mop and am very happy with it. The ringer works incredibly well (possibly too well!), removing nearly all the water so that it's practically dry afterwards. It feels really durable so would imagine it would last for a long time and means you can scrub the floor. It seemed to fit in the hard to reach areas so I could use it in the kitchen and bathroom. The floor looks clean so i'm happy.

i adore this mop. it is unlike no other but......it is for eva coming a part and that makes mopping frustrating. i have awarded this mop three stars rather than five only because i dislike the fact it come s away from the handle

Good product, lacking instructions”
For a mop, the squizzo cleans well and leaves the floors dry. I found the lever rather hard at the very beginning, but it got better soon (to soften, I turned the whole (dry!) thing on its head and pushed down the lever repeatedly. Much easier than pulling). I squeeze twice normally, and three times for wooden floors (once for very dirty floors needing a bit of a soak). The head DOES fall off, if the mop is tilted the wrong way. It takes a bit getting used to, but having learned which is the "right" side, the head doesn't fall any longer. I think this should be mentioned on the pack.

A note from the team: Thanks for taking the time to write your review and give us your feedback. I'll be happy to pass on your comments about the instructions. We found the Squizzo floor mop is easiest to fit if you grip it near the mop head and push the mop head upwards to slide in, checking that the metal catches fit correctly - once fitted it shouldn't slide out during mopping.
Eventually.......worked like a dream.”

I too had the problem of the mop head sliding off even when the slider things were engaged. I got myself into a bit of a rage with it and was ready to return it so my husband had a go. He did exactly what I had done and the mop stayed on. I had another go at it and it fell off. So, he is now the offical mop head fitter. It cleans very well.

Brilliant & Tough as Old Boots!!”
Until now, I've had loaves of bread that have lasted longer than my mops. I wouldn't say I'm clumsy, just... well... 'enthusiastic' when it comes to cleaning the floor. I've had my Squizzo for 2 years & it's stood up to 100mt sq of flagstones without so much as a grumble. I agree that changing the head can be fiddly, but by gum it's worth the effort. My philosophy now is to buy products that won't go to a landfill quicker than it takes to get through a bottle of detergent. I dread to think how many I've contributed over time. Please Lakeland, let's have more products that last!

Solidly built and excellent at cleaning”
Ive got quarry tiles throughout my downstairs and they tend to get very dirty, especially when you have 3 dogs paddling around outside when it rains! My usual string mop left them soaking wet and not very clean. But after using this mop, you could deffinatly see the difference. It cut through all the dirt and left it virtually dry! It is solidy built and should last a long time. For the price it is very good. The replacement mops arent to exspenisve either and easy to put on. Note: it doesnt work near as well on lino than it does on tiles. i dont know why, apart from that, excellent product!

Squizzo Floor Mop”
Have just asked husband to assemble this mop for me. He said never to ask him again to do this if I need the head replaced!!! It is VERY hard to assemble. I bought it as I need a trigger operation due to problem hands - so the trigger works but have unhappy husband re quality!

This mop works well if used in backwards and forwards movement. As soon as you sweep it sideways, the mop head falls off, and is very fiddly to replace. I have MS and have given up trying to use this, so now it resides at the back of the cupboard!

Great sturdy mop. Gets bits up that are stuck to the tiles and easy to use. Tiles look so much cleaner than before. Love the wheely bucket too. Great solution for tiles. Thank you!

Best by far”
by Mr Paul Anderson
I ordered these mops in for performing cleandowns in pharma work areas. I can honestly say that compared to the previous mops we used, which were £56 each, these are fantastic. Really hard wearing and efficient!

Excellent compact mop!”
by Mrs Speller
I bought this mop 18months ago and I can't believe I'd been using anything else before. The mop head needed changing after 12months but we have had a lot of use of it! We bought it as we only have a half height cupboard to store a mop in and the pole splits in 2 for storage but it's also great at cleaning the floor and it's dry in next to no time - very useful with a toddler!

Head falls off all the time”
I bought this mop ages ago and whilst it cleans well I was having problems with the head falling off after a bit - so I ordered a replacement head and it still falls off. It's a real shame as it makes what should be a good mop practically unusable - very frustrating that with every other wipe the head falls off and takes a few minutes to put back on.

Hi I bought the squizzo mop, it is a good mop but the head keeps falling off and it is hard to put back on. If this didn,t keep happening I would give it a ten star rating. I have now given this mop a good chance but I wonder should there be a lock on this to hold the head on. I have really perservered but I am afraid this is very disapointing. first thing I have bought at lakelands to disapoint me.

I bought this mop because I have MS and recently had our bathroom converted to wet room. "A press of the lever makes for effortless wringing" appealed to me because I don't have a lot of strength in my hands but I'm afraid I couldn't make the lever move at all so I don't use it. But I bought the Smart Microfibre mop as well and it is wonderful!!!

Squeezing action quite difficult”
by Ms Law
This is a great mop and cleans really well - unlike previous mops that I've used, it gives your floor a good scrub. However, I have marked it down as I found the squeezing action quite difficult to operate. It's easy to get it half way (but this leaves the mop quite damp) and takes quite a lot to squeeze it all the way. Perhaps I had a faulty one.... but I decided to exchanged it for another mop which I love.
