“Good quality item

Set of 3 Delicates Washing Bags
I purchased these when they were offer and they are very good quality and size. However one of the large bags has a hole in the seam after only using it a few times which was a bit disappointing. I would still recommend the item though.

My old bags were well past their sell-by date and I'd planned a visit to a Lakeland store so waited until I could buy lots of goodies in Bromley on Saturday. Used two of the bags in my weekly wash and they are fantastic - the zips stayed closed, everything comes out as they went in (ie no tangling of tights' legs). Thought I'd got almost everything I needed when I was at the store but, going on line just now to get the item which was out of stock, found myself spending again. Can't resist - everything I've ever had is really good value for money and does what it says on the tin/packet...

“Too delicate for tumble dryers

Our washing machine always likes to eat the occasional sock, so this seemed like a perfect solution. It was - until it went straight from the washing machine into the tumble dryer. Each of the bags used had several large holes melted into them.

“Useful bags

As none of the bra bags (even the GG!) ones actually do fit my F cup underwired bras, I have started washing them in these bags on the machine's handwashing programme. I can get 2 or 3 in each bag & they work well. I think they prevent too much movement on the wire & would stop it damaging the machine if one did come loose. I haven't had any problems with zips undoing or anything like that. Very useful & good value to get 3!

“Great but....

I just receive those bags today and I had to use it for my bra. My bra is just great but unfortunately I saw a little hole near the zip in a small washing bag. I don't know if it was before or after my washing I was so exited.. Think I can sew this small hole, anyway I've got two other bags.

these are great for putting in delicate items so they don't get damaged. I have two girls who have quite a few clothes with sequins or jewels on. So far none have come off and the clothes still get clean. Also useful to take one with you when you go away overnight to collect your laundry in.

These mesh bags are woven tightly and leaves no space for lint/fray from sweaters to escape which was what I was looking for! They are thick and the 3 sizes are perfect. Considering the quality it is very reasonably priced! Lakeland delivered unprecendented customer service! A miscommuncation occured and they promptly resend these bags for FREE! I've ordered 2 sets, both were free. Must say I was very impressed and in a hurry to tell all my friends about Lakeland. Bravo!

“doesn't last long!

I did like these bags as they were thicker than other delicates bags but the zips have broken on them now which makes it really hard to open/close, so am not pleased with their durability!! Need to find a decent replacement!!

“Great buy

After reading some of the earlier reviews, it was with some trepidation that I bought these. I have used them for over a dozen washes and find them very useful. The large bag is great for sweaters, delicate clothes with sequins, etc. and the small ones are good for an underwired bra or even two small lacy ones.

“Too flimsy

After only three washes two of the bags have torn almost right across one side, so badly that they cannot be used again. They were a waste of money in my view, particularly since other bags have lasted for years. As the bags have torn in the same way and in exactly the same place I can only assume that they were faulty.

“Flimsy washing bag

I have used the larger of the washing bags half a dozen times and already it has a gaping hole in it. I thought delicate wash bag referred to the contents and not to the bag itself! I have bought much cheaper bags in the past which have lasted considerably longer than this. Very disappointed with the quality.

These bags are great for protecting smaller delicate items. I wash my tights in them to stop them from tangling and snagging. I have some similar bags that I bought in a department store a few years back and always had problems with them unzipping themselves in the wash, but I'm pleased to say that these bags have never suffered from this problem.

“Great washing bags for keeping delicates safe in the wash

After reading some reviews I wasn't sure how good these would be but they are absolutely fantastic and I wouldn't be without these laundry washing bags now. There was one large one and two smaller ones in this pack. I can fit two bras in the smaller one(s) and probably about 6 would fit into the larger bag very comfortably. I have used them a lot and no wear or tear is showing at all. The zip seems strong. Thoroughly recommend!

“Great improvement

I had the older style, all white ones for years. Eventually they got to the stage where the zips simply slid open in every wash, so I replaced them last year with this new style. These have a bit of elastic over the end of the zip when closed, which looks like that should never ever happen - and it hasn't yet. The shape is more capacious, too. Thoroughly pleased

“Great for washing baby toys in!

I bought these as I wanted something I could bung all of my babies toys in to go in the washing machine, to prevent all the plastic bits getting caught in the washing machine. They have done an amazing job! So easy to just gather all the toys in the various bags and bung in the machine at the same time. Now my baby has nice clean toys all of the time!

“Completely destroyed my bra

I got these to protect my bras and delicates from the issues sometimes caused by washing machines and therefore did not expect them to be worse. Having used them for the first time today, I found that one of the bras inside has now been completely destroyed- underwire pulled out and stripped of the plastic coating and cup ripped across the middle. I thought these were supposed to protect my clothes not destroy them! Now I've not only wasted money buying the bags, but also need to replace the bra they destroyed.

“Zips

I bought these wash bags in store about 2 months ago but I'm finding that the zips are already getting stuck and 'separating' when I try to close the bag. One of the bags is now out of use and I'll have to throw it away. Disappointed. The old ones were better.
