Useful in a surprising way”
I bought these not for sheets (I find the smaller version do the job fine), but for using on the Wooden Concertina Clothes Airer. I like using my clothes airer outdoors, but even a mild breeze puffs all the clothes off it and strews them about the garden. I've been looking for pegs that will hold them on for ages - I tried the Mega Pegs but they were far too big. But these Big Soft Grip pegs are the perfect size for clipping on the wooden bars of the Airer. Problem solved - thanks Lakeland!

Best Pegs ever”
I wholly agree with the positive comments left so far. I have found them the best pegs ever. I have the small ones and they are great, I have recommended them to all the rellies. The big ones though are so good for all the heavier items, I have dogs and they have cut down duvets for their beds and they are in the wash all the time, ordinary pegs just don't hold them and by the time you've turned to go in, the thing is on the ground. So, thank you, Lakeland for a super item. The person who had trouble with slipping, I would say it's the line at fault, it's too thin.

bought these from experience with the smaller version of this product, these are again top quality pegs and do what they are supposed too!! not having to pick laundry up from the grass now!

Found these so good, I ordered a second packet and still do not have enough. They are also good for hanging out heavy jeans, bath mats, rucksacs and trainers.

I love these pegs as they are so versatile. I use them as an extra pairs of hands when putting on my duvet cover . I also clip them to my handmade boxes to keep the linings in place whilst the glue dries. Cherry

Thought these were quite expensive for only 6 pegs but they work brilliantly. We have coastal winds to contend with and now I don't have to retrieve the towels from the edge of the cliff at the bottom of the garden. Hope they last a long time.

Big soft grip pegs”

Just bought these last week and they have already been used for pegging duvets out and good for men's suits as well in windy weather. They really do stay in place and has freshened up these items. I am very pleased with them and would highly recommend buying.

They have made hanging out jeans a dream it used to be; how many pegs to hold them on the line? - and even then they would fall. Two Big Soft grips now does the job. The dog beds, duvet covers, towels and I could go on to remain on the line.

Not as good as I'd hoped”
Although I bought pegs some time ago, I have only recently started using them - I find these big pegs very handy for hanging trousers and large items, but I am a little disappointed that one of the pegs appears to be suffering from strain and now doesn't close properly. I also find that they take up a lot of space in my peg bag, which means I run out of pegs and have to go back into the house to my 'old' supply.

A note from the team: I'm sorry to learn that the product turned out to be faulty. We'll be in touch shortly.
Perhaps not perfect pegs”
Purchased these as well as the smaller pegs having read the reviews..I really do not find them any better to the pegs I had been using..On my line they do allow the larger items to slip in the wind allowing the itmes to get all bunched up, so not good really..Have gone back to using my usual ones...

A note from the team: I'm sorry that on this occasion the pegs weren't as expected. We'll be in touch shortly.
Have 2 packs of these, great for hanging t-shirts on the line and not having a peg mark impression on them when dry but especially great for chunky items, eg: bath mats. They also are useful for hanging things on the clothes maid, no impression across the centre of your clothing from hanging it over the rail.

I've had the standard size of these pegs for a few years and just love them, even better are these larger version which are just great for duvet covers, sheets and larger items. We have terrific spring winds over here in Auz and they are the only pegs that stand up to those winds, so nothing gets blown away and no nasty peg marks either!

these pegs were not as good as my usual 'anti cyclone' pegs. We live on the cliffs of the East Coast and it is very windy. But I found a great new use for them and that is to hold pieces of knitting together as you are sewing them up. Far easier to use than pins and kinder to fingers when they are lost in the bottom of my knitting bag.
