Dryerballs

They may do what they say on the tin. But what the tin does not say is that it sounds like you have added cannon balls to your dryer the noise is unbearable.

I find that drying takes longer when using these balls & they are noisy in the dryer but they do soften a little & don't leave an overpowering scent. Fabric conditioner papers, in the dryer, may be better for softening.

Not used fabric softener for ages!by Tracey

Been using dryerballs for months and pleased to confirm we get soft clothes and less ironing. Not sure about drying time as I don't check but very pleased and find that load is always dry right the way through.

Dryerballs

These are brilliant. Quicker drying time and no more static. They can be a little noisy at first but I'll take that over static every time.

I also didn't realise that these balls are supposed to reduce drying time. I still put the dryer on for the same amount of time but I now don't use any softener on my towels and with these balls they do come out lovely and soft.

Not great.by Mrs Guinane

Dryerballs

Haven't seen a reduction in my drying time since using the balls, but to be honest hadn't realised that's what they were meant to do. Thought they softened clothes and reduced static, which they did do originally. Now I get static and electric shocks when emptying the dryer.

Sorry I cannot agree that these two dryer balls make any difference to my tumble dryer - apart from making an irritating clanking noise. The drying time was no different, the softness of my clothes no different and the creases in my jeans were just the same. Maybe next doors cat might like to play with them and give them a use for being.

I bought the dryer balls two years ago for my washer dryer. I read that they made towels soft but didn't believe it until I saw it for myself. We haven't used any fabric softener since, towels and bedlinen come out of the dryer wonderfully warm, soft and fluffy.

Eco x 2by Gillian

5 stars out of 5

Dryerballs

The 'Dryer Balls' are ecologically sound because 1) they save using antistatic sheets 2) they save electricity by speeding up drying 3) they save electricity by making ironing so much easier and quicker 4) they reduce the number of items that need ironing by making clothes soft and ready for the airing cupboard 5) they appear to last forever-I have had mine years -since they appeared on the market They are economical for all the same reasons!
