I bought a set of these years ago, and they gave me superb service - allowing me to get the stickiest, gunkiest things out of jars (eg: mayo, peanut butter, tahini). They were my go-to for all major and minor scraping out, and spreading on. Then earlier this year, to my horror, they finally bit the dust - one in quick succession to the other. Thank goodness Lakeland isn faddy - they still did them, so off to my local store, and there they were. Normal service has resumed. There really isn't anything else quite as good as these. I hope I can still get them when this pair are finished!

VERSATILE & REALLY USEFUL”
Bought these several years ago and needed to replace but could not find them in store for quite a while - lost without them. Like some of the previous reviews, they are so useful and versatile we just use them all the time - in jars, as mini spatulas. Simple but extremely useful and used constantly. Please do not discontinue!

Take care with spicy or "colourful" foods”
by Gareth Williams
Be aware that using these to scrape the last remnants from jars of curry, chilli or anything that appears coloured (naturally or with additives) will cause irremovable stains. Curry sauce is particularly evil and unless you wash the spatula immediately you have had it. A powerful dish-washer doesn't do the trick either, I'm afraid, nor does a soak in washing up power spray(and that stuff can dissolve burnt milk!).

Brilliant, and multi-purpose”
Purchased these originally for the purpose stated, scraping out jars, but find them so useful for numerous other tasks, and they are wonderful spatulas. Flexible, hard-wearing and invaluable. Super product, thank you Lakeland once again.

How did I ever manage without this”
Cracking piece of kit. Typical Lakeland product - didn't know I needed it 'till I got it, it worked so well I now can't imagine life without it.

Maybe it is my fault, but I thought these would be great for that last impossible drop of ketchup or salad cream, but the spatula is too big for the opening and not flexible enough to manipulate to get inside the bottle. I guess this is one of the drawbacks of buying online and not being able to see the product. Had I lived near enough to be able to visit a store I would not have bought these. I hope I will be able to find a use for them, but don't need yet another spatula (or two!) to add to the collection of plastic spatulas in my drawer.

If you want the last drop.....”
If you want the last drop from a jar of any sauce, jam etc you need these.... I have just replaced the last one of the two I bought when I first came across them in Lakeland some 5 years ago or more, as I cannot bear to be without one!

Back for more”
I bought some years ago and now need to replace them, I wouldn't use anything else for dispensing and spreading mayonnaise!

I have normal spatulas so thought these would be a great addition as my spatulas are too big for jars. However I didn't realise that the handles are quite bulky and uncomfortable on these. Would be good if they had thinner handles. Not sure that I will use these.

Back to buy again”
Bought a pack of these a few years ago and gave one to my mother thinking I wouldn't use two. The one I kept has split now but has been in almost constant use for both scraping and spreading. I'm keeping them both this time.

I use these for everything! Scraping jars and bottles. Mixing cakes and scraping bowls. Stirring sauces (yes they do bend, but turn them over and they go back straight) Scraping saucepans... the list is endless. I even put them in the dishwasher. They do eventually split but anything that does this much work has to give up in the end. I usually have at least 2 on the go and I couldn't manage without them.

I had high hopes for these but was disappointed. The plastic is quite stiff and inflexible so does not bend back after scraping which means that it doesn't collect the food as well as a standard silicone spatula. They are also much larger than I thought. Although it's good they are long for taller jars, the handle is wide and so tends to collect some of the jar contents. I don't know why someone would need 2 either. I would rather pay the same price for one good product. If you can do a silicone mini spatula with a long thin handle that would be perfect.

It's a Spatula too !”
by Mr Brandt
This utensil can be used for all sorts of scraping out. Not only is it a brilliant tool for scraping out jam jars, it is also really handy as a spatula for scraping out bowls with cake mixture or dough. A utensil that is very regularly used and has lasted 5 years. Only recently needed to be replaced !

BIG JAR BUSTER”
by Mrs Smith
If you want to get the last bit out of a WIDE topped jar, these are great, sadly for narrower jars they are useless as they do not fit inside. The size should be given, as the neck of the two types of jars(mayo and night cream) for which these were purchased are too small. A shame because it is such a good idea and they will be used on other jars

not just for jars”
when i baught these I wasn't sure I would use them but I use them all the time I have a lakeland juicer and i use the jar buster to get all the pulp out, it makes it so much easier to clean. Also from the sauce and serve bags, and I keep one just for dog food

This will be my second set. Yes, the first pair went brittle and split, and getting chopped in the processor didn't help, but I'm lost without them to get the last drop out of jars.

I have a few of these and they are fine, however I haven't put them in the dishwasher. I find them so useful for many things, not just jars, and very good at getting a bowl of cake mix totally clean.

Sorry to say that mine have split also, it's a shame as they are a really useful tool. I am ordering again, hoping that the batch I had mine from previously was faulty and that the problem has been resolved.

I love these...but”
These are great Iittle spatulas for reaching the bottoms of jars, bottle and for scraping small bowls. I still have one of my original Jar Busters which I have had for many years. As I thought they were so brilliant I decided to buy more a year ago to keep in my cupboard in case any "got lost". The most recent ones do not seem to be the same high quality as the first and have all split within a month or so of first using them. I continue to use them and wonder if they were just a "bad batch" or if more recent ones have the same problem.

A note from the team: Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I was sorry to learn the Jar Buster are faulty. We will be in touch shortly.
For something so slender you'd be amazed how useful these are. I hate waste in all forms and these little wonders get the last drips out of any jar or bowl which I find most satisfying! I am on my second pair, having lost one of my first batch to scraping out a paint tin (!) and the other to the blades of my mixer (whoops!) - but I had to buy more as I can't live without them.
