Like the idea but....”
The pyramid pan does give a crisp finish to pastry. But I have had problems with meat products ... Fat from chops and sausages dropped into the grooves (as they should) but I have had problems cleaning after cooking. Any thoughts - can't scrub and I don't have a dishwasher.

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. Without a dishwasher, you'll need to drain away the excess fat before it congeals, then soak the mat in hot, soapy water. To finish off the process, use a small brush to remove any stubborn residue and rinse.
Good product but ...”
I bought this product from my local store and i am sort of pleased with it. Yes it does a brilliant job of getting the fat away from the food but then you are left with the fat to get rid of! I usual scrapped fat off tins / frying pans and put it in newspaper to go into the food waste. My first use was cooking sausages (very fatty sausages) but the fat cooled down, it then layed in the pyramids and i had to then put the oven on to melt it, to then soak it up with kitchen towel. Then it went into the dishwasher. All a bit fiddly and not good working with hot fat Any suggestions?

i bought this product last month and have not stopped using it since it arrived, i used to get greasy oven baked chicked with a burnt bottom, this oven mat stops this completely and you end up with nice fluffy baked food!

Changes the way I cook...”
I am not normally one for changing my cooking habits, however I was bought Pyramid Pan by a friend of mine and it's honestly changed the way I cook! Everything I now cook in the oven goes on the mat, everything comes out light and crispy and makes such a difference with naturally fatty foods....best thing about it, straight in the dishwasher afterwards! A must have for any kitchen!
