Creates amazing looking cookies”
by Mrs Zigmond
I bought this as a gift for a friend and soon ended up purchasing one for myself too. You can press out pretty cookies fairly efficiently. We have found that you need a thick dough that you should not refrigerate, don't make too much in one go, towards the last batch it can be more effort to get the cookies to press out correctly. Are Lakeland going to stock the Autumn disk set?

not up to the job,Sadly”
by Mrs riggs
My Husband bought me a biscuit press lovely surprise, couldn't wait to get started, I found the pastry keeps sticking to the bottom, tying to pump the pasty out the tube like trying to pump up a tyre with a hole in it, I have had this biscuit press 8 days & it is not up to the job the handle just broke off, sorry so sad.

Cookies too Small”
This is really good and makes lovely cookies but they are smaller than the average biscuit so most of my friends take two - at least! Is an adapter possible that will make standard sized biscuits?

A note from the team: Thanks for the review. I'm sorry but there isn't an adapter available to increase the size of the biscuits. I'll pass on a request for a larger version.
Great press but recipe lacking”
This is my third cookie press (yes, I have an addiction!) and it looked lovely and easy to use. Mostly it was, however, I had two issues with it. Firstly, the included vanilla cookie recipe is not stiff enough and produced a very soft dough which was almost impossible to use and resulted in some very odd shaped cookies. Secondly, you need a good few presses to get anything onto the baking tray, not just one click so it's not quite as quick and easy as they say. However, with a different dough the cookies should come out better. They taste lovely though!

I bought this cookie press because I read the reviews and I thought it sounded like a good product. I have tried several batches of dough and the results are very disappointing. The gadget failed to produce a perfect cookie. It's gone on the bin - a waste of money. Sadly, I'm unable to give 0 stars.

OXO Good Grips Cookie Press”
I've been looking online at various cookie press, some of which were a lot cheaper than the OXO good grips cookie press, but decided to get this one from Lakeland as I've never been disappointed with anything I've bought from Lakeland. It's amazing, I used the recipe in the booklet (I made 1/2 the recipe about 100) couldn't believe how good it is, I looked at the metal disc's and thought what on earth is that going to make but they are really good especially the flowers, heart and Xmas tree. I've made more with ground ginger instead of chocolate powder and the ginger is lovely.
