waste of time and energy”
by Sarah Oakland
My son loves slushes, thought this would save me having to buy from local shop. Tried so many times, but failed, the best thing it works with is a sugar-rich drink (how much sugar). In the age of obesity in children, something that works best with full sugar like this is worrying, only thing that will make the ice crystals. Takes so long to make, who has time to sit and stir ice crystals as they form. I have a son that doesn't drink fizzy pop, only water or a little squash. (sugar free). I feel like this will get left in the cupboard to sit, really disappointed

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry for the disappointment and offer the following tips: 1.Remove the inner core from the outer sleeve and place it in the freezer for 8-18 hours.Remove and replace in the outer sleeve. 2. Pour in a chilled beverage up to the fill line. Wait a minute or two, then scrape the wall of the cup with the tip of the included spoon to remove ice from the wall. 3. Stir to mix the ice into the beverage and create a slush consistency and enjoy!. We hope that helps.
Almost instant icecream”
I am following a healthy eating plan and now summer is on it's way thought I'd have to forgo ice cream. A low cal yogurt in this little device gives me something that is virtually like icecream in just a few minutes, love it. Have yet to try milkshake, bit am sure it will come up trumps!

great slushie maker”
This is a great product, it's a coddle to use but you have to make sure you don't leave your mix unattended for too long otherwise the liquid hardens fast to the container! This product is only limited by your imagination, the drinks you can make are endless!

Not as good as the lolly maker.”
by Miss Ward
I have the lolly maker so I was excited when I spotted this in-store. Upon looking at the box I assumed the purple container/glass would be used to fill with slush, it turns out thats just to protect your hands from the cold container which you make the slush in & also eat it out of - its hole is really quite small and made no where near as much slush as the photo. You also need to wash it after each use, unlike the lolly maker that will make lollies for a few people & will remain clean (as you obv eat it from a stick). The spoon feels flimsy when scraping the ice off..it's hard work!

great on hot days”
Would highly recommend this slush maker, so good on hot days, as long as its been frozen for 24 hours I can make 3 slushes easily, also another good tip is to use cold drink not room temp drinks if you are making more than 1 slush. Have mainly used squash & cola

This is really worth the money. It easily makes slush with juice although I found it didn't work so well with fizzy drinks.

Wow! Seriously Impressed.”
Just made my 1st slushie! We bought our daughter one of those retro slushie machines. They take 20 minutes, rock salt & make a racket. They're also quite big. This wee magical invention had made a slushie in about 5 minutes of stirring. Seriously impressed. Off to experiment with more flavours!
