I saw these in the catalog and thought they looked great. However, after I had driven for 40 minutes to my nearest store, I found they had just been photgraphed very carefully. In the flesh they look very cheap and tacky. The tops are just photos on flat card, not the three dimensional heads the photos suggest.

Dr.Who!! so why didn't they fit?”
I purchased the Dr.Who cupcake cases, wraps and toppers for when the grandchildren came to stay as they love to bake. Unfortunately the wraps do not fit cupcake size cases, (only muffin size and above). To say the children were disappointed is an understatement. They ended up decorating their cupcakes in flowers and sprinkles (which didn't go well with the Dr.Who theme). Perhaps it would be helpful in the future if some guidance could be given when selling items of a similar theme as to whether they are compatible with each other.

NO PROBLEM ! Looked Brilliant around a large Dalek cake”
Had fun making these, my Son made Muffins, and we knocked up the colours and had a great time making them, putting them together and eating them! I put them around the large Dalek cake which looked brilliant. You can use any size cases that is why they have 3 slots to choose from. Would love to show you my photos !

After purchasing this product for my grandson's 10th birthday and being new to icing (not baking, just icing), I would have liked advice on the packet to help with purchasing the correct icing tip to replicate the pictures shown. The assistant in the store couldn't help me either. On assembling the wraps I found them awkward trying to slot the tab into the hole and advice on the size of cup cake paper to use would also have been helpful seeing as how there are 3 slots on the wrapper. Overall, disappointed with Lakeland selling an endorsed product which I feel was overpriced and underachieved

A note from the team: We're sorry to hear you've been disappointed with the cake wrap & toppers. We do understand that it was so important to master the icing look for your grandson's birthday as most ten year old's love anything to do with Dr Who. We hope it didn't spoil the celebration and will be in touch soon to help.

I was a little anxious about trying these as the icing did not particularly appeal, too much colour, too fiddly. However, instead of using an icing bag and lots of food colouring, I just spread a little chocolate spread on the cakes, then dipped them in white chocolate drops. Then assembled the Dalek wrappers. The chocolate drops being quite pointy (the kind you bake with) blended perfectly with the look of the Daleks. The effect was stunning and the look on my grandson's face was worth it. The other male members of the household loved them too.
