Best on the market”
We agonised before shelling out for this machine but I was sick of the nasty plastic jobs you get for around £100 or less and some of the more expensive ones have very mixed reviews. It is several weeks now and I am still learning but the machine is very forgiving and you always get a decent coffee out of it, although it works best using beans. Highly recommend. No criticisms. Worth every penny.

Great machine (now)”
I purchased this machine as soon as it launched last year and always thought it was ok, just very inconsistent. I had the opportunity to try a machine in store and it was totally different. Lakeland replaced my unit and now I can honestly say it's brilliant. Wish I had swapped it ages ago. Makes great espresso and the steamer is good enough to make latte art microfoam. Great customer service Lakeland.

Wonderful machine! Don't hesitate :)”

I've waited through 6 months of ownership to write this review.. and it's simply superb. I had spent a couple of months looking at what felt like every sub £1k coffee machine on the market, I've had various 'pod' and espresso machines in the past. The level of control this one gives, to vary the grind and dose for different beans, the quality of construction (superb!), totally consistent performance, easy clean, ability to use other coffee grounds without having to empty the bean hopper, and above all a blinding cup of coffee - I wouldn't part with this for the world! Brilliant.

Lives up to expectations. It is pricey but well worth it if you appreciate a well made latte/cappuccino etc. The only criticism I would make would be about the design of the lid for the water reservoir. It has a fragile feel to it and could have been made less complicated, but it does not impinge on the overall functionality.

this machine is actually a Breville (like all the other 'Sage' appliances. I have it in New Zealand and bought it because it won the NZ Consumer magazine test (our version of Which). Makes great coffee but you do have to adjust the grind / tamping / amount of coffee as the beans get older or it extracts a bit too quickly. This is easy to do and the little dial indicator tells you whether you're doing it right - just read the manual! Very quick to use unlike the dual boiler model. Recommended.

SAGE COFFEE MACHINE”
Bit pricey BUT absolutely LOVE this product! You can't produce multiple cups of coffee quickly, but it makes beautiful cappucinos, lattes, whatever! We bought this with money given to us for our wedding this year and absolutely love it!
