Is it possible to enjoy boiling the kettle? Yes!”
by Mrs Birch
We love it because of the attention to detail that has gone into the design. Green tea and coffee tastes significantly better. There's something about the bleeping that has a novelty factor. Totally over priced but if you can afford it, it's just great fun.

just my cup of tea”

this kettle really is smart. Excellent design and comfortable to handle. It makes a perfect cup of green tea - which is mainly why I bought it. I have been searching for a kettle like this since my trip to Japan and finally, here it is. Thank you Lakeland.

why does everything beep?”
I like the design and it is extremely quick to boil (at all temperatures). It is un-nerving at first that it turns itself on and off at lower temperatures. I also like the fact that it hasn't put the level indicator under the handle and hidden from view, which seems to be the current trend with other manufacturers. But the beep! Why do appliances have to beep these days? So annoying. Also a bit surprised that the body of the kettle gets so hot. However, on the whole I am pleased with this kettle.

Just had a branded kettle leak after less than 3 months and the flip function stopped after 1, prior to that another different brand which was fine but nothing special for the money. Dont know why but this just feels well made, flip lid a must for me and the keep warm function is handy believe it or not. Have I noticed my tea tastes better made with 85 deg water? Dont be daft, but great to make fruit teas my kids can drink straight way without dashing for the cold tap (and that really doesn't taste as good). Looks good, is quiet and is very quick. No minus points at all. Cheers Heston.

Just purchased this kettle and it seems quick to boil and looks a good quality product. Not to heavy either. My only worry first of all, was that on the lower temperatures i.e. 80-95deg. the kettle turns off and on. But after contacting Sage they explained that this was correct and it was correcting itself to find the exact temperature. I was worried at first but other than this seems a good kettle.

I just love my new kettle, the different settings are very useful, I knew that coffee should not be made with boiling water now there is no guess work and it lets you know when the water is ready.
