I got this item for my birthday back in February and have just managed to use it. Well I am so disappointed that my mum paid out £25 for a product that is not fit for purpose! I just can't get the dome over the cake pops without damaging them. So I guess it's back to a cardboard box!

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry the display stand isn't suitable for your needs. We'll be in touch shortly to help.
This stand is very useful when decorating the cake pops and when putting them in the fridge to set. However, the dome is actually NOT very useful because it only fits a certain number of cake pops in a certain pattern. I think there may be a slight design fault here. It is better than the cardboard stand though. Also the stand with the dome is a bit expensive for what it is.

very disappointing, this product could have been great.”
bought this as it was the only one on the market that had a cover for the pop cakes. It looks fine. When the pop cakes are inserted into the stand, they touch each other, this is a problem when they are freshly decorated and still wet. The cover does cover the bottom TWO rows of pop cakes. so it only coves about 16 pop cakes. very disappointing.

Looks very elegant but disappointing when in use. The sticks do not sit securely when inserted in the stand so it is not suitable for transporting. The pops can hit off each other and get messed up. It still makes a nice display if you use a small piece of kitchen paper to secure the sticks in place and bend them at a slight angle.

A note from the team: We're sorry to hear you've experienced the problem when transporting the cake pops. The cake pop stand is more a display case than a secure storage case suitable for travel to family, friends or a special event. We do advise the 3-tier stand makes a lovely display for up to 25 cake pops with its clear dome cover in place, and without the cover, neatly holds up to 37 when decorating.
After much searching for the perfect cake pops stand, I saw this one displayed in the window of my local Lakeland and thought it looked lovely. Having purchased it, I have to say that I am absolutely thrilled with it! It holds the cake pops securely and are displayed beautifully on this stand. The dome over the top really finishes it off perfectly. I know I will be using this again and again. Very pleased! :-)

disappointed with design of stand”

I used this yesterday for a cake sale but was disappointed to find that there are holes for 36 cake pops but you can only place 24 pops on stand and cover with the dome as the edges of the dome sit over the outside holes on the base! so I took off the extra cake pops & proceeded to cover the remainder but it was tricky to get the dome over the pops without touching or damaging them, and when they reached their final destination some of them were damaged so very disappointed as you cannot carry all 36 pops at one time- also would be better if the dome fitted securely to base :

Saw this yesterday in the store in Solihull. Fabulous idea but could have been even more perfect for me if the dome could secure in place for transporting purposes.

We searched for ages to find something (other than a melon or a polystyrene brick . . .) to stick our Cake Pops in whilst decorating and transporting them, and here is it! Really good quality base which has holes plenty deep enough to hold the cake pop sticks without them falling over, and a crystal clear domed lid so everyone can see our wonderful Cake Pop creations! Trust me, you'll remember the quality LONG after you've forgotten the price!
