When i bought this machine i wondered why the jar sits loosely on the locating base and moves easily but this doesnt seem a problem as it allows it to connect without problem to the base connector tho it did seem a little odd as you can move the jug when in place. Once using it the speed and power is frightening despite the fact that i have only dared use it on full once. It blends things into a beautifully smooth mix that does not disappoint & I am fussy. I would prefer a more resilient glass jug tho that wont mark in time. Great machine !! Good price £319.99

We purchased a Vitamix Aspire at the end of October and have used it at least once a day everyday since. We ordered the dry jug at the beginning of 2014 and after using it only a few times found brown liquid coming out of the base and the blade assembly was loose after use. It also was noisier than usual. We contacted Lakeland who immediately sent a replacement dry jug and collected the faulty one.We got through to Customer Services quickly and there were no problems even though we weren't very sure of the dates. Great Customer Service and great guarantee. Well done Lakeland.

A note from the team: Thank you for giving us the opportunity to put things right under the Lakeland guarantee. It did sound like you had just been unlucky and had received one with a fault so we hope you continue to enjoy your Vitamix.
This amazing piece of kit replaces three machines and I am in love with it.I know it is expensive but it is worth it for me. However how do you quieten the noise level..any suggestions?

A note from the team: Thanks for the review and taking the time to speak to me on the phone. So that the Aspire can make hot soups from scratch and ice-cream etc. the motor is very powerful, so it can be a little noisy.
What a great product! I have to admit I found the Vitamix a bit scary at first - mainly because of the noise (it's a powerful machine) - but now I'm used to it I couldn't be without it. I made a mess of an ice cream recipe, but it still tasted good! It took me a while to try making soup, but boy, oh boy, when I tried the Ginger Carrot Orange Soup (from the recipe book) I was delighted. N.B. The container capacity is 1.4 litres (if you watch a lot of YouTube clips you'll notice people using a 2 litre capacity container). I mention this because you have to adjust some ingredients accordingl

I bought this from Lakeland became as a previous reviewer said its important to have confidence in the seller. It is a considered purchase and from previous experience I know just how good lakeland customer services are.I have only had it five days but have made smoothies with at least six fruit and veg in each morning and they have been excellent.I am now freezing loads of fruit so I can try the icecream recipes.I made a lovely cheese sauce for cauliflower cheese today it only took a minute just milk, cheese and Worcester sauce. The chocolate mousse is delicious.I love this machine already!

Very good but is it worth the money?”
I do like the Vitamix very much and, as others have said, its blending capacity is excellent. The smoothies are great! The ice cream making is not as straightforward as the instruction book would have you believe and getting the finished product out from underneath the blades is extremely difficult. In addition, it is phenomenally noisy - but that is a factor of its power. Within minutes of submitting the above review, the Customer Service Team had contacted me with some helpful suggestions. I cannot fault them on their prompt reaction and helpful attitude.

Had to write a review on this, this is a considered purchase, but worth every penny, I only bought it yesterday, but have already made smoothies, cheese and broccolli soup(from scratch in vitamix in 6 minutes and it was hot!), guacamole and frozen stawberry yoghurt. Smoothies are better than from the smoothie bars. I had read a lot about this blender before purchasing, I expected to be disappointed, but it has exceeded my expectations. Absolutely delighted with this machine, purchased it from Lakeland as its such a considered purchase, I know I can rely on the guarantee and customer service

Super, Super, Super”
by Mrs Berry
I received one of these as a gift - it replaced a very much over used Kitchen Aid Blender and I was completely blown away by it's power - I make a 'green smoothie' most mornings - it takes just seconds to reduce pineapple, avocado, ice, sunflower seeds and some cucumber juice to the most amazing creamy drink. It blends soup in seconds and makes fantastic Hummous and dips. It is easy to clean, but - if you make something like Hummous it is incredibly difficult to get the stuff out - especially below the blades. It is however, the Rolls Royce of blenders! Well worth the money.

Vitamix is a super-blender - you could probably blend rubber tyres in here if you wanted! Joking apart, these machines are phenomenal and will help to increase your and your family's vegetable and fruit intake exponentially. On slow you can use it as a food processor or on high speed blend the most delicious and healthy green smoothies literally in seconds. This is the entry-level machine so it doesn't have any preprogrammed cycles but has the same motor as the other models. It looks eye-wateringly expensive but it's miles better than cheaper blenders. Unlike juicers it's super easy to clean
