I used this in a batch of biscuits and the flavour was lovely. It is very strong and needs to be used sparingly. I would definitely recommend it.

I disagree with all the negative comments. If you taste it from the bottle then it will taste of the alcohol in which the ginger is preserved but in cooking it is absolutely fine. The ginger creams that I made were wolfed down because they were delicious.

Used this to make Swedish ginger biscuits and was really happy with the results. A little bit goes a long way, so don't get too generous! Same with the cinnamon- Too much can overpower really easily.

I agree with other reviewers regarding the smell and taste; I tried this with new rhubarb and the effect was awful. Very chemical even in a lamb dish.

It taste/smells nothing like ginger. It is like it is gone off. I love ginger and I use it practically everyday in my cooking but this.......no no no.

Think maybe other reviewers had a bad batch, we bought this when it was on three for two offer and are very happy with,its really good in ginger biscuits and a five ml spoon per batch is just right :D

Smells like a drain and every ginger recipe I've tried to use this is has NOT benefitted from it. No idea if it's a bad batch or if this is just how it smells but I've tipped mine down the sink. Really bad.

Mostly the Star Kay White extracts are great but I found this one smelt and tasted almost entirely of chemicals. It had a gingery after taste but that is about it. Otherwise I was left with a very unpleasant taste. My husband smelt the bottle and thought it might have gone off - but we bought it recently and have only just opened it, so this would be unlikely.
