I made the gingerbread dough as described on the box. The recipe states to take the sugar, butter and syrup off the heat and add the dry ingredients. Do you have to wait until the dough is cool, or use it when still warm? I could not get the dough to come together no matter what I tried. I am now left with a big pile of dough, a lot of frustration and 2 hours wasted. Also, the cutters are very flimsy and some of them were bent.
