conical cheese mould”
by Mrs Hands
I had a big problem with making cheese out of the Lakeland cheese book and a much smaller problem with the mould. The sticky label on the inside of the mould was difficult to remove and left little bits of glue behind. Apart from that it is reasonably priced and I hope will eventually do the job.

Oh, that label!”
by Lionel J I
I was given this as part of a Christmas present, and I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. But I can only endorse what others have said about the label. If you must put a label inside the mould rather than outside, please make it an easy-peel one!

Agree about that wretched label!”
by Lesley Averill
I agree about the rotten label in the mould...I still havent been able to remove it all, and can't therefore use it! I am surprised that Lakeland, who are usually so reliable for convenience of use of their products, haven't contacted their supplier and insisted that they stop labelling this cheese mould like this! It wouldn't have been so bad if it had been stuck so permanently to the outside...but it is proving impossible to remove from the inside! Please change this Lakeland!

Great product, rubbish packaging!”
When I read other reviews I thought "How difficult can it be to get a label off?" Well the answer is extremely difficult. You can't get your hand inside to peel it, which makes soaking in hot water pointless. I tried Lakeland's own Sticky Stuff remover and scraped with a knife, then put in a dishwasher to get rid of residue. Still, some label remains. The cheese book tells you hygiene is of utmost importance so I feel I cannot use this mould; shame as it seems an ideal size and shape. Disappointlingly, Lakeland comment that they are looking into the issue in Aug '12. Not sol

Beware - perfect without the label adhesive.”
I bought both cheese moulds today. The label on the basket peels off perfectly, but it is impossible to remove the adhesive residue from the bottom of this one. Some advice from customer services would be very helpful - unfortunately it is not fit for the intended purpose unless the adhesive can be removed completely and the container sterilised. I don't want glue and whatever has stuck to it in my organic cheese! My advice - ask a member of staff to remove the label before you purchase.

No Label Problems”
Received this great little mould this morning and very happy to report labels came off very easily.Sturdy little mould should last me for a few years even with the amount of cheese we get through.

Have to agree - the label on the bottom inside was a so and so to remove. Had to get out the Sticky Stuff remover!

Give us a clue Lakeland!”
by Mrs Johnson
Come on Lakeland. Give us a clue on how to get the label and adhesive residue off the bottom of this conical mould! Your guide is explicit in the need for hygiene and yet we can't even get the mould clean!

Cheese Making is NOT easy!”
First of all, what a silly place to stick the label. I struggled to get my hand in to peel it, and I'm petite, so someone with bigger hands just wouldn't do it. Never actually used this though because having spent nearly £40 on all the equipment, I've now wasted about £24s worth of milk in my 8 attempts to make cheese following the "easy" recipes.

Silly label position”
by Mrs Hardy
I cannot understand why this product has the label on the inside... and using a glue that makes it so hard to remove. Please reconsider how you package the item.

Good item - apart from the label”
I agree with Mrs Faulkner - why did you have to stick the label on the inside at the bottom? It took ages to get it off. Other than that, it is a good item.

Great idea, good size shame about the labels. Both inside and outside, the paper came off after a great deal of soaking and scraping, but the adhesive does not want to budge. On glass I could use turps but dare not try it on plastic because of the smell!

Ideal and sturdy”
by Mrs Faulkner
This is a nice sturdy little container but I do have a slight critisism of the label which is put inside the container when sold. It's taken me all weekend to get the adhesive out of the bottom of the container, bearing in mind that the container must be sterilized before use. Otherwise great little container

Just the right size”
If you've bought the soft cheese book then you may like to know that this mould is just the right size for the recipes in the book. Easy to clean too. The Halloumi is really nice by the way!
