I've been baking for 8 years and thought this product would make my life easier but...Both times I used them cakes were always stuck to the bottom and sides were cooked faster than the middle (20cm pushpin). I'll be returning them (all 4) to the shop tomorrow :(

Absolutely love these tins. Purchased a few in different sizes. Followed instructions and greased first. Cakes come out perfect every time. Don't sit there thinking about it, buy them... You won't regret it!

Absolutely love these pans. Have just switched and wont be switching back, i hate lining tins and these only need a little spray of spray oil and perfect. Hoping they are going to increase the range of square ones available.

Every Christmas we have the same situation re making the cake. I can't manage scissors, so husband had to line the tin, cue bad language and lots of banging and clattering in the kitchen. Then I saw the Push pan! What a wonderful idea, it worked, cake baked to perfection, although the first edition ended up in the bin as someone added the lemon and orange juice to the butter and sugar, curdled yuk!

If you are disappointed with this product, it can only be because you haven't properly greased the tin. Mine works every time. Aluminium is not non-stick but it lasts a lifetime of baking. You do need to smear butter or oil around it every time you bake to make it a failsafe joy to use.

Having moved into making novelty cakes recently, I bought the Pushpan to make life a little easier. The seal is sound, not a single drip or leak, there's no need to grease/flour the tin at all and the even heat distribution delivers a perfectly cooked cake every time. Turning the cake out couldn't be simpler, put the cake on top of a tall can and push down. That really is it. I'll certainly be expanding my range of Pushpans based on my experience with this one.

What a big disappointment”
I've baked for 50 years and decided to replace my ancient tins when I read the blurb about these new push up tins. Huge mistake. I made a rich fruit cake but when I pushed up the cake to release it, half of it stuck to the sides of the tin so it was ruined. When I washed the tin and tried to put it back together, the blue silicon ring pushed up inside the tin and I couldn't make the tin re-usable. I thought it might be me so I tried another tin. I made a Victoria sponge and it too stuck to the tin and I had the same problem with the silicon ring after washing. I wish I had kept my old tins!

Nice tin, but watch your fingers”
Using this tin is easy, as long have you have greased the tin beforehand. The only problem I have had is that the bottom edges are very sharp and I have sliced my finger while greasing it. Also as it should be greased before pushing in the bottom, I recommend storing the bottom separately to the rest of the tin, to avoid ruining the seal
