Giant Silicone Cupcake Case

As there were no recipe with these moulds, I spent a couple of days trying different mixes .I have now worked it out for me anyway,I do use a oven thermometer at all times . A two egg mixture will do two of these moulds, it's too much for one.that's 4oz butter 4oz sugar 4oz flour 2eggs 1tbsp milk, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder mix all altogether in a bowl ,divide between two moulds or 1 mould and some fairy cakes at 160c for 30- 40mins. I also did a chocolate brownie mix too my son in law loved it . Gemma

Giant Silicone Cupcake Case

Just bought this yesterday and me and my little girl couldn't wait to try it out. We were not disappointed our cupcake looks great and cooked well. We even were daring and used the mould to make our own chocolate cupcake case and with the help of a bit cake release it worked fantastic and came out without breaking! Now the bottom of our cupcake looks just as yummy as the top

I love this silicone mould - worth every penny as i use it a lot. I make the cakes as presents [ I give it out of the mould] and tie a pretty ribbon around the middle. I spray the mould with oil and have no trouble getting it out. Just wish you would design a suitable gift box to to put it - food for thought!!!!

I adore the size of these moulds, they turn out a giant sized muffin and look great! I made a chocolate one using a 2 egg mix but found I didn't need to use all ofthe mixture, just fill 1/2 full. Baked in around half an hour in my gas oven at 180, then lowered to 170 as the middle was still uncooked. I will be buying some more!

Super Duper Cupcake!!by Jayne

Giant Silicone Cupcake Case

Best cupcake case on the market and great price and perfect each time! I use cake release to grease case. The recipe I use is the 2 egg double indulgence recipe used by Mary Berry as it is moist and tasty (use milk choc). This quantity will fill two cupcake cases easily as you only half fill each case. Put in oven for 20-22 minutes at Gas Mark 4 should rise to just below the rim. Check with cocktail stick or cake tester to see if it comes out clean. Leave to cool for 15 minutes before removing in the normal way. Use plate to cover top of cake before turning upside down. Voila perfection!!

Giant Silicone Cupcake Case

I was really impressed with my first experience of silicone bakeware. I did use Cake Release which made it incredibly easy to remove from the case. In my fan oven it took approx 30 mins to cook at 160 degrees
