Rips rather than grates”
by Margaret Wood
This grater proved very rough on lemon skins. The peel was ripped off rather than grated. It was slightly better for cheese but I will be looking for a finer, better quality grater.

A note from the team: Thanks for your feedback, I'm sorry that you'd been disappointed with the grater. A good alternative for lemons etc. would be the Kitchen IQ zester, ref 15870. I'll be in touch shortly to help.

bought this grater recently, very disappointing for orange or lemon zest, but good for cheese. Microplane graters much better, although more expensive.

I bought this grater because I needed a fine zester for lemons. It is excellent and a good price too.

Not as fine as Microplane.”
I bought this to replace an aged Microplane fine grater. It is very sharp and excellent for parmesan. However, I find it coarser than my microplane and not as good for citrus zest or nutmeg as they seem to catch on the blades.

As good as Microplane!”
I bought this grater recently as it was considerably cheaper than the Microplane graters that i had bought in the past, but looked as good, and i wasn't disappointed! It is basically the same thing for half the price! - I've bought Microplane graters in the past and they have all broken - don't waste your money on those - buy this one!
