does its jobby Teena

Lakeland Vegetable Preserving Bag

This is a brilliant bag, have found vegetable stay fresh up to two weeks after purchase. The only problem is they could do with being a little bigger, as leeks are to long, and cabbages, cauliflowers can sometimes be to wide to fit. Other wise great, have recommended it to friends and family.

Lakeland Vegetable Preserving Bag

I bought these bags hoping they make vegetable last longer - not only do they stop veg turning so quick they are fantastic quality and wash well

Lakeland Vegetable Preserving Bag

I just love these bags. My potatoes/vegetables/onions (bought these three) never looked better after some time in my fridge. Thanks to Lakeland!

Lakeland Vegetable Preserving Bag

Brought 3 of these bags potatoes, vegetable and onion and find them all really useful. I don't like keeping vegetables in fridge and these tidy up vegetable cupboard perfectly.

Odd Effect On Broccoliby Claire

Lakeland Vegetable Preserving Bag

I've used the onion, potato and mushroom bags for a while and am happy with them so bought the vegetable bag too. Following Lakeland's advice I keep the filled bag in the cupboard. With leeks/cauliflower I'm not sure they're doing any better in there than in the veg drawer of the fridge, but they don't do any worse and that frees up some space in the fridge. However broccoli very quickly turns completely yellow on the tips, so all the florets are discoloured within a couple of days, though it remains crisp. Still testing out other vegetables, but so far I am not quite convinced.

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. Broccoli keeps best when in a plastic bag in the fridge, so putting it in a plastic bag inside the vegetable bag may help.

Cabbage doesn't fit!by Patricia

Lakeland Vegetable Preserving Bag

Love all three bags but the veggie bag could do with being a touch bigger. Leeks are too tall and my cabbages too big! Picture is misleading, that's a tiny cabbage!

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. We've passed on your suggestion for a larger bag to the buyer and your comment on the photo. However, we do give the dimensions of the bag next to the photo, which we hope gives customers enough information on the bag size.
