to your thick cut saville orange marmalade I added 2 chopped lemons and 2 generous tablespoons of treacle reducing the sugar to 1.4kilos, at the end of cooking add a generous 1/2 glass of whiskey, or more to taste. put into sterilized jars. What a way to start Christmas day. Enjoy.

A terrific product producing a wonderful marmalade with very little effort. I altered the method slightly by dissolving the sugar in water before adding the contents of the tin to reduce the risk of breaking up the peel by too much stirring. It does need a knob of butter as it tended to foam quite a lot. Highly recommended!

YUMMY LEMON MARMALADE !!”
by Mrs BRUCE
SUBSTITUTE HALF THE WATER WITH VODKA BUT ONLY ADD THE VODKA AFTER THE MARMALADE HAS COOLED FOR TEN MINUTES. DO EXACTLY THE SAME WITH ORANGE MARMALADE BUT USE WHISKY.

Works well and tastes good”
The marmalade set very solid without any trouble, unlike the thick cut orange marmalade, and had a good flavour.

Marmalade is such a pain to make from scratch, so bought and made this and the medium cut marmalade, both were excellent.

Excellent product, try adding ginger!”

Really easy to use even for a novice marmalade maker. I added 100g of grated root ginger with excellent results. Will be using this again for sure.

Easy to make and tastes great”
Glad to have found this product. It is easy to make and a great way to get a homemade marmalade fix when the Seville oranges are not around. It set really quickly and because I like a slightly softer set, i added some whiskey before I potted it - lovely!

This is the third batch of marmalade I have made and again so easy! I also added the rind and juice of 3 limes and the taste is lovely. So so quick and easy and my family and friends love what I have made so far. Next batch is the thick cut which i will add stem ginger to give a little kick!

Easy peezy lemon squeezy!!! Sorry for the pun, but that is exactly what it is. This is so easy to make and made 6 delicious jars of marmalade. I used just under 2 kg of jam sugar and followed the instructions. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to make great tasting marmalade without all the hassle!

This lemon marmalade is first class, it's taste is just great, not too sure at first as it was a lot of sugar that had to be added, but it was fine and has a really good set and tastes great, it's a real hit with all of my family, thank you Lakeland.

I have just used this for the first time having had good results with the orange flavour. I am very pleased with the final product and even prefer it to the orange as it is not so sweet.

Yummy marmalade - Mrs Grace Gilmore-James”
My husband buys 6 jars at a time from the Cardiff store, and I make pots galore for family, friends and church events. Great success! Thank goodness you make it for me. I also found that by mincing 4 extra lemons to each tin, plus a little water it makes the taste even sharper.

I've been making marmalade from these cans of prepared fruit for years. So quick and easy to make, no peeling, no shredding, no messy bags of pulp and pith and they taste just like the real thing. I was very disappointed to find that the supermarkets no longer stock this and I couldn't find it anywhere, so now I'm over the moon that Lakeland has it for sale at a very reasonable price. Thank you Lakeland, you have rescued my breakfast toast from boring bland marmalade.
