I recommended to two separate friends last year to buy the insulated butter dish. Visiting each this year, they tell me it doesn't work!! Are they doing something wrong, they ask. One doesn't use it any more, but the other gave me the dish for breakfast and indeed the butter was nearly runny. Lakeland, please explain. It is very disappointing, but you are still selling the dish.
A note from the team
The rule of thumb for this product is firstly to store it away from the heat generating appliances. Also remember, if the butter is hard when it goes in the dish, it will stay like this - likewise if too soft when placed inside the dish, it's not likely to be of the consistency that's best. A member of staff has the insulated butter dish product and stores butter normally in their fridge when not required then takes a 250gm pack out and leaves it on the work surface to soften just a little before placing it in the insulated dish - perfect results when you need to use it!
