A world of usefulness”
The world aspect comes from holidays, because this works for every time you would use foil, and some more. Self catering? the frying pan never has any non-stick left. A layer of Parchment-lined Foil, and you are sorted! I always put a roll in the case, even to hotels, because you want to wrap your sandwiches and picnic loaves properly! And you might be lucky and find a communal barbecue - especially in Australia and New Zealand - and you will be able to wrap vegetables or fish, or make a little fry-pan. And at home? All of the above!

celery in France”
I have a delivery from a supermarket in the uk once a month. I love fresh celery for making my soup and thanks to this product it stays fresh in my fridge for a month. Brilliant, thank you!!

I love this for wrapping up Sandwiches, keeps my lunch nice and fresh. I have used it in the oven but I find it tends to curl and stick to the cake, especially if you are making cookies - it curls and sticks to the cookies at the side of the tray. For what I use it for it is great but in the oven I have gone back to my non-stick tins.

Useful stuff but tends to curl up at edges and is impossible to tear using the box as cutter is cardboard - needs a cutter like on the foil boxes.

I love it”
Abosolutely love it. Use it all the time. I wish they were produced in different widths though. I would definitely make use of a wider roll too.

Sorry butI just don't see what all the fuss is about! I have had a roll of this in my drawer for about 6 months and every time I use it I am disappointed! I tried lining cake tins and it curled over at the top and dented my cakes. I tried wrapping my Christmas cakes in it but it doesn't seal the air out like proper tin foil and it doesn't want to hold its shape even when folded so I had to use foil aswell. It's too slippy and doesn't scrunch so it's not as good as either foil or baking parchment. Recently, I used it to line a baking sheet and it curled up and ruined a batch of meringues.

This parchment lined foil works very well for lining baking tins - you don't get any of those horrible little bits that sometimes get stuck into the corners of your baking! It's very strong and easy to cut and handle and is also excellent for wrapping individual slices of cake as it protects it much better that ordinary foil or baking paper. I really like the embossed logo on the foil side - looks very proffessional!

KEEPS CHEESE FRESH FOR LONGER”
I buy Cheddar by the kilo & wrap it in this after opening. One piece of parchment-lined foil will last as long as the cheese, despite being unwrapped & rewrapped many times, unlike normal foil and clingfilm; in fact sometimes I reuse the same piece of foil for the next piece of cheese! The parchment lets the cheese breathe & keeps it fresh; I haven't had any go mouldy or dry since I started using this product.

The best since sliced bread!”
Parchment lined foil - why hasn't anyone thought of it before?! The foil brings the wrap-round flexibility and the parchment is much better next to high fat proteins, e.g., roasts, cheese bakes, etc., because unlike foil it doesn't 'dissolve' onto the food. Thank you Lakeland for another brilliant idea!

wonderful with smelly fish”
I wrap mackerel in this and get a wonderful moist and flavoursome result and best of all, no smell in the house and NO washing up. Same excellent results with salmon so this product is a must have in my house and worth every penny

The parchment lined foil is such an excellent idea. I particularly use it for parcel cooked food, such as my wonderful baked salmon with couscous. Food is cooked very evenly. This product is so perfectly matched for this type of cooking as it folds and bends so easily. I have also used it for lining a tin for my Christmas cake. I leave the cake to mature over a couple of months and wrap and unwrap it a number of times to add more brandy. This product stays strong and does not rip.

Worth the money”

Whatever you're baking this is perfect for the job. Consistent results and I also found (by accident!) it's great for covering joints when they're resting. Well worth the money.

Parchment Lined Foil”
Absolutely SUPERB! I live in France and there is no equivalent product here so I bought a couple after seeing it used in the Great British Bake Off and then had to buy more a couple of weeks later as all my chums here (mostly French) wanted it too! Now I am back again for more! Well done Lakeland - so versatile and so reasonably priced. Thank you.

Bought some last week and used it to line my baking tin to make a fruit cake. Worked perfectly - kept its shape when lining the tin. Came away easily and made sure cake baked evenly. I'll be buying more. Going to try out some tray bakes next.

Love this product BUT . . . . .”
by Mrs STEVENS
I love this product 90% of the time when it works perfectly and would give it 5* but on occasions when I have used it en papillote, for light foods such as fish in particular, the parchment has parted company with the foil and bulged up within the parcel causing part of the food being cooked to be raised up about 2.5-3 inches, causing uneven cooking and drying out. For all other uses it is perfect (apart from one cake that stuck . . but that has been the only time with a cake issue, for some unknown reason).

A note from the team: Thanks for letting us know about this. It sounds like a one-off fault, and we hope the replacement we've sent performs well. Thanks for your time.

This is a really good product. Easy to fit in your baking tin and easy to remove afterwards. Will be ordering more!
