no hot spots”
Brilliant range of cook ware, but this fry pan is my favourite. Works great on my induction hob. It heats evenly without any hot spots. Great non stick surface, hardly needs any oil. The metal handle means you can finish food off in the oven or grill. A bit on the heavy side, but robust.

Circulon 30cm skillet”
This skillet distributes heat superbly and cooks the most wonderful, soft omelettes, and crisps bacon and sausages to a 't', thanks to excellent heat distribution and its non-stick coating. An unqualified ten out of ten.

This is my third and largest circulon skillet and just as with its smaller brothers (or sisters) it is a joy to use. All the claims made for this series are well merited. I heartily recommend these pans to anyone. Can't I rate it with more than 5 stars ?!

circulon 30cm frypan”
I have an induction hob and was looking for a top quality frypan to fit my hob ring which is 28cm. I ordered the circulon 30cm frypan to replace my old 30cm frypan which had a 25cm base. However, when I opened the package, I saw that the base plate of the circulon pan was much smaller and the frying area was nowhere near even 25cms. It would be much more relevant to specify the diameter of the base in your catalogue particularly as it is supposed to be a frypan. Shame as it seemed good quality.

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. The base plate is 9" (22.75 cms) in diameter.
I'm absolutely delighted with this pan. It does a great job and the non-stick surface is superb. It does take a bit of time to heat up, but provides a constant even heat. It doesn't come with a lid, but Ikea do a universal 34cm lid for about £7 which fits perfectly when its turned upside down. It's then a simple matter of unscrewing and reversing the lid's handle. Once again I'm really happy with this pan.
