Great product but over priced.by Sarah

4 stars out of 5

Cupcake Caddy

I think this a is a great product, very sturdy, and the cupcake holders are well spaced. Having read the reviews about the holders not being deep enough, I would disagree, I think they're the right height. I don't understand why anyone would transport cakes in it and not keep it flat? If they are going to be transported at an angle, then they're going to fall over! I would give this product 5 stars but for the fact that the exact same product is sold by a supermarket chain at a significantly lower price.

A note from the team: At Lakeland, we try to offer our customers high-quality goods at a reasonable price. Every now and then, however, another company may offer something at a lower price. When this happens, we won't try to match their price but remember Lakeland customers do benefit from a wonderful product guarantee.Thank you for your feedback

A very sturdy carrier but it's not perfect. The cupcake circles aren't quite deep enough so unless you carry the case perfectly level 100% of the time-the cupcakes fall over. It's also very bulky to store.I think it would be good for big cakes or tray bakes. When I bought it it was also quite dirty (not a great start for a food storage item) which I commented on to the sales assistant who said it just needed a good wash.Easy to say but it's a bulky item to wash with lots of crevices.I think the item should come wrapped in plastic to prevent this. Overall good quality but doesn't quite deliver.

Versatile Cake Caddyby Fiona McCrudden

Cupcake Caddy

I was uncertain about the storage space it would take up when not in use but other tupperware stores inside it very well. Baking for two charity events, the mini cupcake holder was fantastic and the cupcakes arrived in perfect condition with beautiful swirly butter icing. The flat base of the box will hold a graduation fruit-cake which is weighty but I am confident in the strength of this light weight box which makes transportation easier. I would advise being careful not to drop the box as I found one of the clips cracked on mine; a new one is on its way. Thank you Lakeland.

Cupcake Caddy

Found this caddy great for storing cakes, but travelling with them is another matter. I had great expectations for safe transport of my cupcakes, however, when I parked the car to remove them from the boot of my car all the cakes had tipped over. Disappointment all round at that party. The product needs to be renamed cake storer as clearly not fit for transporting unless you are carrying it lying across both forearms. Impossible.

Cupcake Caddy

This does exactly what it says. It's a solid, stable and sturdy piece of equipment that is easily cleaned. I carried cupcakes and other cakes into work in the car-a very bumpy journey with lots of stops and starts-and they were perfect on arrival. I also used it to carry loaf cakes without using the insert tray, and they didn't slide around either. It is quite heavy, and it is VERY large, so it will take up alot of storage room in a cupboard, but it is so much better than squashing buns and cakes into tins and hoping they don't get ruined. Great for keen bakers-recommended!

wibbly mishapen innerby Ellen

Like one of the previous reviewers the insert was warped and so wobbled and spun around. Apart from that it looks good but we will have to take a trip back to the shop I suppose to get it changed which isn't overly local.

Not Fool-Proof, but good anywayby Suzanne

Cupcake Caddy

As other reviewers have said, if you're not careful, the cupcakes do topple over. It's fine carrying the caddy using the handle, but place it on any minor angle, such as the back-seat of a car, and over they go. I would suggest the 'lips' of the cupcake indents should be higher, or better still the insert tray should have small legs and holes for the cakes, rather than lipped circles. I can see that a design like that would mean that you would only be able to transport one size cupcakes, rather than the choice of large or small, but it would do the job better. Good but not perfect.

A Warped Bottom!!by Mrs DEBORAH STAMP

A previous reviewee said that the inside tray was warped and I thought that was a one off. Sad to say I have a warped tray in the cup cake caddy that I have purchased from you . The tray wobbles when in place so the cup cakes will wobble too. It is a nice size and well made.

Prone to toppling cupcakesby Flamingo Bakery

3 stars out of 5

Cupcake Caddy

As I bake and transport a lot of cupcakes I thought this caddy would be ideal, however the cupcakes tend to topple over during transportation. I think this is due to the holding rings not being quite deep enough, otherwise the caddy would be great. As it stands the toppling problem has caused me to ruin the decoration on too many cupcakes in transit so I'll be looking for an alternative caddy until this issue is resolved.

Mis-shapen :/by Miss Rees

Cupcake Caddy

This was looking really good... until I realised that when I have it with the small cupcake side up, it wobbles. The plastic around the edge on one side is all warped. I need to use this on Thursday (Monday today) so have just stuck some foam padding in there for now :/ Apart from that, it's a good size and locks well, just wish it didn't wobble.

Brilliant for brioche and croissant bakers as well!by Vittorio

5 stars out of 5

Cupcake Caddy

Ever since I got a bread machine I toyed with idea of baking fluffy brioches, croissants and other delicate creations, but the dough always failed to rise properly. Then I found your caddy. It is the perfect size for holding a standard baking tray. It is also the same size as my electric warmer. Now I put my creations on a baking tray inside the caddy, I put the caddy on top of the electric warmer and, hey presto, the dough can rise undisturbed by droughts and knocks, in ideal humid and warm conditions, until it's time to pop it into the hot oven. My family have been enjoying the best bread rolls ever. Thank you Lakeland.

I bought this product for one occassion, to take a large cake, which it did beautifully. I questioned whether I would really get the use out of it, but I use it all the time. I store cakes and cupcakes for the family. When I make cupcakes to take out I don't have any problems with the cakes falling over as I usually make so many that I place cakes in the spaces between as well.

Not quite rightby Mrs savage

although this caddy is good for storage, transporting the cup cakes is another thing. The ridge holding the cakes needs to be slightly higher as the cakes tend to fall over,if that was done it would be excellent

Brilliant for Cupcake Bakers!by Janette

5 stars out of 5

Cupcake Caddy

I've always moaned about squashed cupcake toppings when bringing my cupcakes to parties and now they look as perfect in someone else's home as they did when they were just decorated sitting in my kitchen. The Cup Cake Caddy needs to be kept flat when transporting but for someone who takes baking cupcakes as seriously (or obsessively) as I do, it's a worthwhile investment!

Not as good as expectedby Mrs Gillian Widdicombe

2 stars out of 5

Cupcake Caddy

Not as good as expected, the caddy is a bit cumbersome but the really disappointing part is the cup cake holders they dont hold the cup cakes properly and they tend to fall over spoiling the decorations on the cakes. I have returned to using a plain box as I can wedge the cakes in next to each other and they dont fall over
