"really difficult to use"
14 March 2017
I read all the reviews before I bought this corer, thinking I would be able to follow the instructions on how to both core the apple and then release the core with the pusher. I found both parts of the corer really difficult to use. You cant see where to push the corer though the apple which is a nuisance. The corer is sharp but for some reason still doesn't cut into the apple very easily. Trying to remove the core with the plunger is impossible. It really hurts your hand, and I could not release it, therefore resorting to a knife to dig it out. I don't think this item is fit for purpose .
A note from the team
Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear this product hasn't worked well for you and we're glad our customer services colleague was able to put things right for you. another review has found an easy method to avoid coring becoming a chore. Pushing down on the apple placed on a board is much easier than juggling with an apple in your hand. "Extracting" needs a different approach too - just place the pusher on the board, the corer on top, and press down with your hand around the corer
