That should say it all so here are a few tips use only 1/2 the cold water stir then put on lid and give it a good shake, think cocktail barperson, then top it up with more cold water to about an inch from the top. Then do the boiling water thing. Leave for 24 hours then put in fridge for another 24 hours WITHOUT disturbing it. If you stir or decant it before the 24 in the fridge it will be sloppier. I know this for a fact as when we have been away and use it before "time" it is a different consistancy.
