An Idea In Case of Poor Setting”
by Miss Chew
I've been buying Easiyo from Lakeland for a few years and had no problems with setting until last year. After several disasters it suddenly occurred to me that the first one had coincided with my dishwasher dying and having to wash the containers by hand. So the next time I made a batch of Easiyo I scalded the contained with boiling water before I mixed the batch. Bingo! No more problems. I've got a new dishwasher but I still scald the containers and have had no further problems with setting. Hope this helps.

for thicker yoghurt”
I have been using easiyo for many yearsand picked up the following tip from one of their promotional programmes. If you want a thicker yoghurt in colder weather, after leaving the yoghurt to set for 9 hrs, pour away half of the water and top up with more boiling water and leave for another 3 hrs. before putting in the fridge over night. works especially well with the low fat greek mix.

I started using this yoghurt about 2 years ago after seeing a demonstration on TV. I'm on slimming world and this is free. I don't add sweetener but with plenty of fruit it is a delicious breakfast or dessert. I use it plain in curry and many other recipes. A really great product and it doesn't take long to make. Ready in a day! How good is that.

Love Bio Skimmers!”
Have nothing but good things to say about this product. It's tasty, easy to make, and whips up nicely to use in dips and sauces, or simply for eating. I add my own fruit to it with a little sweetener for a nice dessert, and best of all, it's Syn free in the slimming press. Hurrah!!

This review is for an older version of this product
We first tasted Easyio in New Zealand many years ago and brought all the makings back home with us. At that time we couldn't buy it in England and our friend in NZ used to send it to us! Then we discovered that Lakeland were stocking it and we have been eating it daily ever since. We have tried most of the flavours, the skimmers and Greek style too - and love to vary them. We never get tired of our morning snack - great with cereal and/or fruit - and would never be without it. Thank you Lakeland for a really great, tasty, healthy product - don't ever stop stocking it PLEASE!

Great when its right”
by Mrs Greatbatch
I thought I would give the bio skimmers a go as they are lower fat than the reduced fat ones. My first batch was terrible. It was runnier than store bought yoghurt drinks. Taste was fine though. I was in store at Lakeland when they had samples of the yoghurt which were a thick consistancy. I asked how they managed to get them like that and they said - dont fill to the top with water fill only to 800mls. I tried this and low and behold thick creamy yoghurt even from bioskimmers. The downside is though, that really it doesn't make 1Litre of yoghurt then, making it quite pricey for the amount you get. So 1 Ltr of runny yoghurt or 800mls of thick creamy yoghurt.

This is fantastic yoghurt if you are on a diet as it contains no syns!! meaning that you can eat as much as you like (providing you don't add sugar). I add sugar substitute and it is absolutely delicious and so easy to make. Lakeland is the best place to buy easiyo as they have such a good selection and delivery is so quick and free over £60.

I agree with the other review. We have tried the strawberry, raspberry, skimmers and variety pack and so far have never had any 'not set'. The low fat mix can also be bought as unsweetened flavours and are lovely but not available in many shops... let's hope lakeland stock them soon!

I have been using this product for the last 3-4 months since starting slimming world (it's fat free). Its great to eat on its own, you can add sweetener, if you're like me and have a sweet tooth or it can be added to cooking instead of cream. Its so versatile. It's gluten free too for those of you who have a wheat intolerance or coeliac. What more could you ask for? What a great product.
