Perfect Pie tin”
by Kay Hemingway
Couldnt remember where I purchased mine which must be at 10 years old. Went onto net to see if I could find it and here it is. The base of mine is losing coating frin using knife I guess. Not sure if I could turn over because of ridge but doesnt matter now I can replace it. Makes beautiful deep Apple Pies so my granddaughter informs me and the rest of the family. Kay Hemingway

Smaller Pastry Crisper please”
by Mrs Finch
I use my pastry crisper all the time and find it excellent. I would like a smaller one up to 20cm to fit in my small side oven.

A note from the team: Thanks for your suggestion for a 20cm pastry crisper, we'll pass this to our buyers for their consideration.
Not Quite (but nearly) Perfect”
This is a good idea and it does help the base to cook through but the metal is so thin. If you take the ring off near the end of the cooking the base bends and it's easy to buckle the flan. I thought of putting it back in the oven on a baking tray but that rather defeats having holes in the base, I suppose. I'm afraid I've got used to the vastly superior quality of the "My Kitchen" range and I won't stray away from it again.

DEEPER SIDES PLEASE”
I have had two of these for some time and the perforated base works wonders, BUT please could we have one with slightly deeper sides - say 1½ inches, especially useful for savoury flans!

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. I've passed on your suggestion for a deeper sided crisper.
Excellent the product works”
by Mrs Gillian Widdicombe
I have just ordered another one, I purchased this sometime ago and put it away and forgot about it. When cleaning out the tins cupboard I found the pastry crisper and decided to test it making a treacle tart. Turned out beautiful. I would recommend this product.
