After having agreed to make cookies for the charity bake sale at work I purchased this baking sheet so as to double up on the amount of cookies I could bake in the oven at one time. Unfortunately when I removed the cookies from the oven and left them to harden on the baking sheets the cookies baked on the Lakeland tray were still far too soft and totally uncooked whereas the cookies baked on the cheap baking sheet I bought a few years ago from the supermarket were perfect. I'm not sure if it's something to do with double layer base of the sheet but this is definitely not a good baking sheet.

Super non stick but warps in oven”
The first time i used this tray i was making Pitta bread and the tray had to be in a hot oven (gas 8) for 15 minutes before putting the dough on it. When i took it out of the oven to use it was all warped. It did return to shape when cold but it is advertised as non warping. I decided to try it again and it remained straight. Have used it now every week for over 6 months with absolutely no problems. It must just be the first time it is used that it warps.

Was a really great item in the begining.”

I have had this baking sheet for some time and it has performed beautifully, no bending, no sticking, especially good when used with non stick liners. However, this week what I thought to be a bit of sticky mix turned out to be a hole in the tray. After reading some of the reviews today I can see what has happened it's rusted from the inside, but it would never have occurred to me not to have washed it especially when sold as "dishwasher proof". (I haven't got one of those) I wash it, dry it and put it back in the warm oven - and I have a hole in it.

I bought this baking tray for my daughter recently and she was delighted with it. That is until she washed it and found it filled with water. She tells me it is difficult to get the water out and she has to shake the tray. Lakeland stuff is usually excellent but this tray doesn't live up to usual standards.

non stick that really is non stick!”
I umm'd and ahh'd about getting one of these trays, as have been used to buying 'non stick' ones from supermarkets and replacing regularly. Decided to chance it (bearing in mind the Lakeland guarantee) and am so glad I did - everything just slides straight off! Nice weight, so feels sturdy and long lasting. Original tray had a small defect at time of delivery where the non stick had bubbled up - I sent a photo to customer services and a new tray was dispatched - fab service, and clear intent to prioritise customer satisfaction and needs. Thank you.

This review is for an older version of this product
Great product, used everyday many times, one slight problem with placing this item in the dishwasher is that on the reverse side it has a little hole in each corner which lets water in between the two metal surface's and when removing from dishwasher water goes all over the floor. Thank you for such a quick response.

Hi. Thought I wanted to share with you how good these baking trays are. Good quality and they do not warp. However, I feel there is a snag as they are impossible to get out of the hot oven, as there is no handle. What looked on the website as an upright pulling ridge is in fact far too shallow for any grip, especially with oven gloves on!! Got two of these trays which are being used very regularly. I am very happy with their performance apart from this inconvenience.

great trays, no warping or buckling, no chisseling biscuits off!! dont immerse in water though, just a rinse under the tap on the top side is all they need!! love the my kitchen range!

Very difficult to remove from oven.”
The lip on this baking tray is too shallow so it is nearly impossible to get a grip on it with an oven glove or even a tea towel which I had to resort to! It is also shorter than other baking sheets I have which I didn't expect so check dimensions as I didn't and assumed it was a standard size.

Very Very Value For Money”
by Simon Powell
I have had mine (2) for nearly 12 months and during which time they have seen a lot of baking action and excellent they have been too. The non stick is very effective (to start wth anyway). Mine have recently started to be more stick than non stick. I have put this down to dishwashing them and which can be too caustic and thus have an erosive effect on the non stick. A theory I am about to test having just bought another yesterday and which will only be handwashed. Must dash, bread awaits to be baked on my new baking sheet!

No baking parchment, no greasing and my biscuits just slid off - wonderful!

Never had a problem with Lakeland bake ware before but only had two of these for two months and the non stick coating underneath is peeling and eventually it will peel off to the edge and effect the top. Not happy with the quality of this product wasted my money on these as will now need replacing.

Excellent Product and customer service!”
by Mrs Ellis
I purchased 2 of these from the York store on opening 1 of them, it was found to be faulty. I contacted York but told them it was an 80 mile round trip to bring it back for replacement. They advised me to ring head office which I did and they sent me a replacement without quibble and told me to dispose of the faulty one. Excellent customer service (other companies take note!) The baking sheets are excellent, so far nothing has stuck and they are so easy to clean, just a wipe with a damp cloth leave to air dry and they are ready to go again. Thanks Lakeland you are the best!!

Fine but design not great”
by Ms Lawton-Harris
I was initially really happy with this - it's sturdy and appeared to be good quality. That said, it has a double layer and underneath, it has holes in each corner - presumably to let in heat. Unfortunately, after having had it for about 8 months, it has now rusted inside. After washing, it's really difficult to get all of the water out since there are only 4 tiny holes. I've had to throw it out now so it's a little disappointing. I thought this would've been considered when designing the item.

This is the best baking sheet I've ever used worth every penny ! So easy to clean just a wipe and done. I use this every day it's still as good as new.

When washing baking tray fills with water, which even though leaving to drain, has caused it to rust from the inside. My baking tray now has holes in it and bits of rust breaking off it.

Warps when in the oven but otherwise good”
by Mrs Katharine Ashley
I mainly use this to cook biscuits.I find nothing sticks to it but it warps when it gets hot in the oven (although it does return to shape when it cools down.

This is a really good baking tray and does what it says on the tin. You can clean and wipe it easily and fits perfectly in my oven. My only criticism is that it is difficult to get out of the oven as it's very flat and I can't find a handle that clips onto where the hole is in the picture to lift it out easily. Other than that, it's good!

overall a good product but I have concerns about the fact that there are holes in the bottom that fill up with water when I wash it.

I find them brilliant!”
by Mrs Pryor
Sorry to buck the trend, folks, but I find these absolutely super. I have four, for when I am in biscuit making mode. Yes, they collect water if immersed, but they would do, wouldn't they? Wipe them with a sponge and detergent, then run them under the tap. Put them back in the warm oven and any residue will evaporate. I always use cake release or one-calorie spray and have perfect biscuits, scones, meringues, etc. every time. Both our daughter and daughter-in-law have these now and are similarly delighted.
