OXO Good Grips® Vegetable Peeler

I bought one years ago and it's still in fantastic condition - I'm amazed at how cheap it is. The blade doesn't seem to have dulled and it hasn't rusted. It's incredibly comfortable to hold and compared to other styles of peelers, it leaves my fingers and fingernails relatively free from being sliced! The additional "eye" remover is a great little touch that is very useful to have.

OXO Good Grips® Vegetable Peeler

This peeler is comfortable, sharp and very easy to use, much like the Good Grips potato peeler, albeit using a different technique. The blade protector is a good idea and it goes through the dishwasher like a dream.

OXO Good Grips® Vegetable Peeler

Love this. It handles everything from softer skinned cucumbers to the harder to peel turnip and sweet potato with ease. So simple to use and can be popped in the Dishwasher. I like the fact that it comes with a little clip on plastic cover for the blade so, when it is not being used, the peeler sits safely along side my other little kitchen gadgets in the drawer. I recommend this without hesitation.

OXO Good Grips® Vegetable Peeler

I recently tried four different peelers all available from Lakeland. This was the most expensive but was not the best.This tool removes a very thin layer from the vegetable which is obviously healthier & more economical but I had to go over the veg several times to remove all the skin which is tedious as I need it for soup making. Poor performance with celery. The £1.99 peeler does a much better job although not so robust and may not last so long.

OXO Good Grips® Vegetable Peeler

This little peeler is brilliant. Peels the toughest marrow, swede, butternut squash, etc. with ease. My husband was a devotee of the old traditional Lancashire peeler, but has been converted! We also have a second one now, which we keep for cheese. But do make sure you replace the guard when putting it away - it's VERY sharp.

OXO Good Grips® Vegetable Peeler

I have never been able to use a Y or U peeler in my life and have been using a Lancashire one for 35 years. Having tried and failed to get other Y and U peelers to work, I am delighted to say that the OXO Good Grips one is superb. At my first attempt, I managed to peel tonight's potatoes in half the time. Am thrilled!

OXO Good Grips® Vegetable Peeler

I have had mine for a good few years now and it must've peeled many many pounds of veg. I am ordering a new one and recommending it to a friend too! You will not regret spending your cash on this - ever!
