We bought our second fly screen earlier this year. The second screen, unfortunately, has been very disappointing. My husband knew how to install the screen - from experience. However, the weights were constantly having to be replaced to fraying material. As well, the panels didn't fall back into place easily. We took down the screen and adjusted the panels more than once, measuring carefully. We probably had it in place for about two or three weeks when my husband lost patience completely and took it down. I had this screen on my wish list for months so am more than disappointed.
A note from the team
We've spoken to our buying team and they've passed on some useful suggestions. It's important to ensure the mesh is correctly placed and that the bottom of the weights do not touch the floor/door frame when hung, even slightly. We tested one in our customer service office and found that by making sure the mesh is positioned between the inner side of the weight parts,so that the bottom edging of the mesh is level with the faint line before pushing the weight parts together - this ensured the rubber studs fitted better and locked the mesh curtain in place well and held. Despite some aggressive traffic going through the curtain and with a stream of knocks to test it vigorously, it's performing well.
