This is a wonderful strong non stick tin, and my little cakes bounced out perfectly. But the mini chocolate Victoria sponge recipe! It makes a huge amount of mixture, so have another bun tin ready. The chocolate meringue icing to fill uses an entire block of butter for 12 little cakes - so extravagant! I used under half, and have frozen the other half. Lakeland , you need to test and amend this recipe! But the results are charming. Has anyone tried making miniature Christmas cakes? That would make a change from mince pies as a take-along present.
