So excited but alas!by Mrs HazlewoodHarmer

Spoon Spatula (as used by Delia)

I've been wanting one of these for years and finally bought one... seemed perfect for the mixing of my cakes but after a few uses follwed by washes in our dishwasher the end has been deformed :( I am unware of how this has happened (I know not to use it for heat and my husband swears he hasn't) but I am sad and gutted :/ I'm still using it but it looks awful and misses little bits of my food when I scoop... a mystery but I'm sure everyone else will have a great time with it.

I had an earlier version of this and am buying this one to replace the one my daughter melted when using for frying - do tell your teenagers they are heat resistant!!

Best spoon shaped spatulaby Rosemary GUTHRIE

Spoon Spatula (as used by Delia)

I find this great for scraping down the sides of my bowls when making cakes. Being silicone, the mixture slides off pretty easily into my cupcake cases and the spoon shape makes it perfect size and shape for filling them without making a mess.

A Must for Misersby Marilyn Le Breton

Spoon Spatula (as used by Delia)

Love this spatula. I've been using it for many months & it leaves mixing bowls almost clean. I was amazed that my previous spatula was leaving a good cup cake of mixture on the bowl sides. Now I get every last bit of mixture out - perfect for penny pinchers like me :-)

Delia's Spatulaby Pauline

Spoon Spatula (as used by Delia)

I have had my original spatula for a good ten years and it has been used constantly, and it has not broken off at the tip. I am treating myself to a new one as it has become discoloured but it wont be thrown away.

Spoon Spatula (as used by Delia)

Love this spatula - flexible enough to scrape out the mixing bowl really well, but also firm enough to spoon your mixture out. Very versatile and a reasonable price.

Bad for bowl lickers!!by Mrs Davis

Spoon Spatula (as used by Delia)

This is an excellent product. I have had several over the years. They do not last forever and do not like very hot pans, but during their life time, they are brilliant. By far the best spatula I have ever used.

One of my most useful spatulasby A E

Spoon Spatula (as used by Delia)

I use mine all the time for mixing & clearing the cake mix bowl, stirring sauces, getting food out of cans etc . The edges fray in time & they stain but I keep a few spares.

Spoon Spatula (as used by Delia)

This spatula cleans the bowl much too well. Leaves no room for licking! I have been buying it again and again over the last few years making sure all family members possess one and even ask for more. Many thanks Michelle

great for scooping everything out of the bowl as described but not heat resistant which was a shame as expensive for a basic spatula that I have now had to throw away.

Spoon Spatula (as used by Delia)

I recently thought that I would treat myself to a new spatula and thought that one - as used by Delia, no less would be just the job. However, I find that this one is just not flexible enough to do a perfect clean of the bowl. Sadly I think I must continue my search for an excellent replacement.

No more bits of cake mix on the sides of bowls. What a shame! clean bowls every time, not like the bowls you see on the cookery programmes. These really are very good at the job and very reasonable price wise.

Spoon spatulaby Judth Brown

3 stars out of 5

Spoon Spatula (as used by Delia)

I have just purchased 3 of these spatulas the reason being that I have had one for years [I cannot remember how many] but a very long time and it is marvellous very flexible making a perfect job of cleaning out utensils. It is stained and does tend to pick up odours but this isn't a problem. It is in perfect condition. The new ones I bought to give to other family members are more stiff and do not do such a good job neither do they look or feel quite so good. I shall pass them on as intended but feel I need to apologise about the inferior quality.

My kids hate theseby Candida

Spoon Spatula (as used by Delia)

The days of getting to clean out the last bits of cake mix from the bowl are over: there just aren't any. Using my first one on a dish with a lot of turmeric wasn't a great idea, but turmeric stains everything except glass and metal, so I can't blame the spoon for that. It didn't retain any flavours or smells. Just be aware that it may pick up those kinds of colours, if it bothers you - but so would a wooden spoon.

Gone are the days.......by Mrs Ross

5 stars out of 5

Spoon Spatula (as used by Delia)

Gone are the days when children could look forward to scraping the last bits of cake mix out of the bowl!!!This utensil has put paid to all that, not a bit of mix is left. I find they last as well as could be expected and at any sign of wear, relegate mine to such jobs as scraping the last bits out of the paint tin and cleaning paint out of the roller. I have had several now and my only problem would be if Lakeland stopped selling them.

Spoon Spatula (as used by Delia)

I couldn't manage without my spatula; I use it for scraping out the baking bowl, scraping out the remnants of thick vegetable soup from the pan, folding in flour or whipped egg whites when baking and mixing the ingredients of dips in the bowl. It's invaluable and is cheap enough to replace when worn out. Also washes well in the dish washer!

About to order these once again. More flexible than rivals and I do use them to stir hot foodstuffs. Some have distorted in heat but are still in use several years later!!!
