I have always hated faffing about cutting baking paper roll into circles and so this just makes it an absolute doddle! Especially if you then use the mini parchment roll to line around the sides. I’ve only used it once to make a sponge and found it came away from the cake just fine. If I was doing a Christmas cake I think I would double up.
