“No more fly pods

I am extremely sorry to learn that you will not be ordering any more fly pods or glue boards. I wouldn't be without mine.

A note from the team: Thanks for placing your review. Although we've taken the decision to discontinue the fly pod once the stock runs out, the packs of 6 glue boards are still available for £17.99.
“Flies gone

You will not be disappointed with this product. I live near lots of trees and flies have been a problem in my conservatory for years. Not any more!! I will have to buy more pods to have around the house.

“Flypod

I bought this product to deal with the flies caused by living in the countryside surrounded by livestock. It works well, but I have found 3 problems: 1. The replacement boards cost £3 each and only last 1 - 3 weeks depending upon the stage of the season. No bulk pack is available. 2. The front shield becomes brittle and when I touched mine gently to investigate the crack that had appeared, it shattered. 3. Lakeland does not sell replacement UV lamps. They are not easy to get hold of and they are expensive. Mine lasted less than 2 years.

I had high hopes for the Flypod in curing our country fly problem. Unfortunately it's not lived up to expectation. It makes a nice light though in the evenings!

This Flypod is a great buy. Would recommend it to anyone. Stocking a replacement plastic front would be helpful as continuous use makes the front brittle.
