Ensuring consistent accuracy when rolling out pastry, pizza dough or biscuits this clever beechwood Joseph Joseph rolling pin has colour-coded, interchangeable measuring discs that slot on each end to ensure an even thickness all over.
The rolling pin includes 4 sets of discs for 2mm, 4mm, 6mm and 10mm depth plus measurements along the barrel in mm up to 33cm.

Love this rolling pin, for the first time ever my marzipan is the same thickness on my Christmas cake. Wish they made longer ones as my daughter makes tall cakes. I would definitely buy a longer one for her.
Wonderful rolling pin this. A little more than would normally pay for a rolling pin but it does make your job so much easier
I have been very pleased with this rolling pin since i purchased it. It would be even better if it had a 3 mm ring as well as this seems to be the standard thickness suggested in many of my recipes.

Bought this to roll sugar paste/fondant thinner, but it's not wide enough to cope with an 8" cake + sides, ended up with the discs leaving marks in the fondant. Probably OK for pastry etc. I am now using this regularly to make biscuits and find it really good, just have to roll in smaller batch, even dough every time.
We agree when rolling icing for an 8" diameter cake plus sides as a one piece challenge you'll need a much longer rolling pin. We hope you'll find an alternative to suit your needs.
