This is a stylish product which is comes in a lovely box so would make a really nice present for someone.
Although measurements are given it is much smaller than I imagined it to be and is quite pricey. However it looks good on the table and the handles make it really stand out. I may use it to present cheese at a dinner party but would not fit an awful lot on it, other than that, maybe small canapes or sushi as in the picture.

This is a very solid and weighty presentation tray (well, obviously, as its made of slate!). I used it to serve cold amuse-bouches and nibbles like proscuitto and figs etc, and its great for that as it keeps them cool, so there are no worries if they are sitting out for a while at a party. It is rather expensive, but very stylish and I can see this lasting for years. As one of the other reviewers said, it comes in a beautiful presentation case and would make a superb present for any foodie friends.

My slate serving tray arrived today. It was in a nice presentation box. It is beautifully made and is well worth the money. It will be a classy and unusual way of serving cheese, sushi, canapes etc. I love the burnished stainless steel chilli pepper handles. I cannot wait to use it.
