Winner of 12 awards, Bananagrams is a fast-paced word game designed by three generations of one family; so it's been well and truly tested for its family fun credentials! A snack-sized game that can be played on the go, empty the tiles face down on a surface, take your starting tiles and make them into an individual crossword.
The first person to use up their tiles shouts 'peel!', and everyone takes another letter. The person to run out of letters first is the winner! It's bananas how addictive it can get, and it's a fun way for youngsters to learn new words too – well they do say that fruit is good for you!
144 tiles in a zip-up fabric banana pouch. For 2-8 players. Suitable for age 7+.

Not what I thought” by Judy
Bought for use on overseas holidays & a December boat journey. However although a novel idea it's far too heavy (379g) to take overseas (which on a recent holiday baggage allowance was hand luggage 5kg, cases 15kg). It's weight should be mentioned in its description. I won't be keeping it & will buy a lightweight travel game.
Give 2* for novel idea for English holidays but no use to me.
Bananagrams, Fanastic Game - Great for Travelling - Staying in with friends” by Kelly McDonald
This is an excellent game, gets your mind active and focused. The more people that play, the game becomes faster and the challenge harder!
I purchased Bananagrams for friends that I also travelled around Scotland with over the festive season. Banagrams never left my friends' handbag, when we were out in pubs before and after meals - out came bananagrams! So much fun to play!
Lakeland, please get more stock in, as so many of my friends now want their own, including myself.
Great for Holidays!” by Vanessa
We took this on holiday with us to Portugal this year and played it every day. Lots of other guests asked where I got it from. Fast moving and challenging in all versions of the game. Good value for money!
