I've used this little waffle maker a couple of times now and was really pleased with the results. It does however have a flaw in that if your waffle mixture overflows at all, as they quite often do when cooking, then the mixture drips down and goes in between the hotplate and the bottom plastic casing which makes it impossible to clean as you can't remove the casing to get to the overflowed mixture. I wish I had kept the box for this as I would have returned it for this reason alone. It's a shame as it does produce lovely waffles, but I won't be using it again as it's too hard to clean!
A note from the team
Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback, I'm sorry to hear of the problem you had with the mixture spilling out.
The instructions do advise - Add a generous spoonful of
batter to the moulds and spread slightly with a spatula. It is important not to overfill, as the mixture will expand when baked. Just ensure there is enough waffle batter to fill the base of the plates, this way you will get a good sized well risen waffle stick.
I'll be in touch shortly.
