Dualit 2-Slot Long Lite Toaster 46025
Product number: 31632
Benefitting from 70 years of expertise in toaster construction, Dualit’s 2-slot Long Lite toaster has extra-long slots so you can toast slices of artisan bread or fit in four slices of a home-made ‘batch’ loaf in one go, and they’re extra wide so they can accommodate a ‘doorstop’ slice too. Engineered with perfect toast in mind, it features a number of features which ensure you get the perfect golden slice every time.
Perfect Toast Technology
Featuring Dualit’s patented Perfect Toast Technology, this toaster senses the temperature of its surroundings and calculates the exact toasting time for a consistent golden brown finish.
Peek and Pop Function
We have all been there. Stopping the toast cycle only to find your slice needs a little bit longer, and then overdoing it. Well the Peek and Pop function from Dualit lets you check the progress of your toast without having to reset the cycle, making it easier than ever to get that perfectly golden slice.
Bagel Setting and Extra-Wide Slots
For when you fancy something a little different, there is a dedicated bagel setting to ensure your bagel is crispy on the top, while still being soft on the bottom. This is also ideal for toasting burger buns for a gourmet cheeseburger. There is even a warming rack included, ideal for breakfast croissants or curry night naan breads.
There are also defrost and cancel functions, for if you’re getting some bread out of the freezer or need to stop the toast cycle for whatever reason. These are easily accessed using the dial on the side of the machine. There is also a separate dial for browning options, to get the best slice to suit your tastes
About Dualit
Dualit was born out of one man's passion for invention, well-engineered products and hard graft. Max Gort-Barten came out of the British army after WWII filled with engineering ideas, and started his business in Camberwell – one of his earliest ideas was the Dual-Light electric fire, which gave the company its name, but it was their now iconic patented toaster that caught the public’s attention. Still specialising in toasters, Dualit’s product line now includes a range of small electrical appliances, from kettles, to hand mixers and countertop ovens. Now run by the second and third generations of the family, Dualit stick firmly to Max’s principles of reliability and durability: No frills, no gimmicks, no compromise, just great products.

Very pleased with this toaster. Toasts evenly with an easy to adjust dial to get a range of colour. Bagel option is excellent toasting just the cut side.
At last, a toaster that actually toasts evenly. It really does do what is says on the tin. Will take up to 4 slices but only has 2 slots, so not taking up loads of worktop space. Good clear dials and brilliant pop action!
Best toaster we’ve ever had. Looks great and a bit retro. Stainless steel makes it easy to clean. Love the bagel function. Reliably makes great toast.
I had been looking for a toaster of this type to replace our old long slot toaster (not Dualit). As a treat I bought this and I have not looked back. It defrosts bread, warms on the rack scones, naans breads plus other tasties and if you like bagels this has a bagel setting. It toasts well and the controls are easy to use. You must remember if doing 2 slices only to put one in each slot not side by side. The toast does come out with force and a few slices have landed on the work surface, but that adds to the fun of it. The 3 year warranty provided by Lakeland is an added bonus too.
I found it next to impossible to find a long slot toaster that would actually fit bread made in my standard Panasonic bread machine. This however does fit the bread slices and toasts quicker than my old toaster. I haven't had a good success rate with how long toasters last for us in the past but I was happy to spend so much on this model with the Lakeland Guarantee. If I'm being really picky it does seem to toast crusts a little too much but I think that must be a function of very crispy bread machine bread crusts rather than the toaster itself.
