Aprons and oven gloves: never too hot to handle

Aprons and oven gloves have come a long way since the frilly pinny, wraparounds and thick, cumbersome mitts for handling roasting hot pots. Bringing the oven glove bang up to date, non-slip grippy silicone copes with temperatures up to 250°C, whilst the heavy duty cotton versions are insulated with special steam barriers to give even better and longer protection. How many of us still bear the scars of having oven gloves and mitts that looked pretty, matched the kitchen, but couldn't put up enough resistance to hot pots? Thank goodness we can now have good looks combined with gloves that do the job they are supposed to, which is properly protect our hands. One oven glove is so sophisticated it shields both hands and wrists at temperatures up to an incredible 360°C. In our range we also have longer gauntlet-style gloves too, that give extra protection in the battle against the heat of the oven. How amazingly comforting to know that no matter how hot the dish, we can handle it!
