The best yet” by JANE
I have short pile carpeting in my kitchen and found that my rugs moved on it at an alarming rate. I tried everything possible for several months until I tried the Grip-a-Rug, as a last resort and despite the negative reviews. This is the ONLY product that has worked and my rugs remain firmly in place. I will probably have to renew the tape after I wash the rugs but it's a price well worth paying for eliminating the daily headache of repositioning rugs.
Useless product” by Mrs Atkinson
I wish I had read the reviews before buying this product. I have had exactly the same problems as all but one of the reviewers. The tape sticks to the carpet but not the rug. Lift the rug to vacuum and the strips are left on the carpet. The rug moves around as much as before. Absolutely no use. I am surprised that Lakeland still stock this as their products are usually fantastic. Alas this one isn't! Sorry Lakeland.

Preventing rug movement?” by Harry
I bought this some time ago but have only just tried it, unfortunately, without success. It didn't really stick to the rug very well and I tried detaching the yellow backing tape I found it so difficult I gave up and decided to cut my losses. I have bought many items from Lakeland and all have been of excellent quality, so one duff one isn't a bad record.
