Success eventually!” by Sheila
Bought this on the spur of the moment after seeing it in the shop and without reading the other reviews. It took me about half an hour to assemble the thing, every time one shelf clicked into place the other one collapsed. However I hate being beaten and persevered and did manage to do it eventually. Useful shelf and it will be used but a very frustrating item to put together. Not what I expect from such a great Company as Lakeland. Time to improve the design I think.
A note from the team: Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. I'll be sure to pass on your comments to our buying team.
Disappointed” by Ann
It was very tricky to assemble these shelves. In fact it took two people, and was very frustrating as the lower shelf would not click into place. When assembled it is a good product, however, I was expecting to be able to put spice jars on it and the shelves are too close together to fit them in. But if all you want them for is very small things, once assembled, they are fine.
A note from the team: Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. I'll be in touch shortly to help.
shelf design” by Mrs smith
All the reviews are right complete waste of time also to small very poor Staff couldn't help either Got money back don't be tempted
A note from the team: We're sorry for the problem you had assembling the item. The instructions need to be followed carefully:The curved bars of the side panels need to face inwards. 1.Make sure the largest gap on the side panels are at the bottom (with the silicone feet on the floor). 2.Hook the bottom shelf over the curved bar on one side. Pinch the fitted shelf/frame in one hand and then place the other end of the shelf on the other side panel. 3.Rest one side against a support structure (such as a chair leg). This is the most important part of the instructions.4.Holding the end away from the support structure, place the second shelf on this end.Now hold the shelf/frame of the top shelf and then place the other end of the shelf onto the curved bar at the other end.5. Press down the shelves to ensure rigidity We hope you find a suitable alternative.
