"Love this bowl"
This bowl is absolutely brilliant. I bought it for my new kitchen to protect the sink, and had been recommended by friends. Love the colour, the sturdiness and plug at the bottom. Definitely worth the money

Joseph Joseph Wash and Drain Washing Up Bowl with Plug - Grey
Product number: 23999
A washing up bowl with its own plug, the Wash & Drain is another great innovation from Joseph Joseph.
There’s no need to tip the bowl to empty water due to the integral plug so it’s perfect for use in the sink or for taking on camping trips. The plug doubles as a food catcher, helping to prevent blockages and the steep sides help prevent water and suds splashing.
With large carry handles this stylish grey washing up bowl is practical and easy to carry wherever you choose to use it.
31.5 x 31 x 20cm H. (12½” x 12¼” x 8”).

Bought this on offer, looks good deep and great idea, although plug was stuck when it arrived but a bit of woman power sorted it, just have to remember to close plug after emptying
I ordered this product using click and collect and it was very quickly ready for collection. I picked it up from the store, took it home and was very disappointed to find the plug was jammed very firmly in the hole. Another bus trip into town to return to the store where the young girl at the till told me that someone had handed another one in with the same problem. Another lady went to the stock room and brought three more out. Two out of the three had the same. This is an excellent idea but with an inherent issue with either manufacturing or storage. I now have one that works and I like it.
It was great for a few months, then it started slowly leaking. I’d put dishes in to soak, come back 15 mins later & half or even all of the water was gone! You replaced it. I could leave stuff soaking for days. Then it suddenly started leaking again. Pouring through drain plug like a sieve. I couldn't get any water to stay in, it immediately poured straight out. I felt like screaming &.throwing it somewhere!! I’m back to using a £2.50 bowl. Cheap & nasty but it doesn’t leak. I thought it was just me until I saw a review where it’s happening to someone else..
Thanks for your feedback. We're sorry this leaked.
What better way to use 'grey' water for the garden rather than wasting it! We live in a rural location off mains drainage so have to pay for every litre of water collected from the tank. Combined with last summer's drought and hosepipe ban, this little bowl provides a great way to recycle the kitchen water for the garden ..... and it fits perfectly in a standard size sink. Another great design innovation from JJ!
